  Pretty much ok. A couple of smallish bugs on the wall in the room else room was fine. Bar service is a bit slow sorry to say. I think food is limited so had dinner in other places. But for a couple of nights it was ok

  Average hotel in a nice surroundings. Beautiful garden and nice outside sitting areas. Very limited food options. Wine was served 3 times stale. I had to ask for the new bottle to be opened in my presence to overcome this challenge ;-) Large room, very friendly staff. Both at the reception and restaurant. Parking available. Very remotely located. If you're considering this hotel to visit Dusseldorf, change your plans.

  Hotel stay due to vehicle repairs at nearby dealer.

  Our stay was required due to vehicle breakdown while on holiday from Scotland.Arrived Friday 27June. Arranged by vehicle recovery service. Staff very helpful. Bus stop 3 mins away to Ratingen then tram to Dusseldorf.Also near airport. Checked out after 4 Nights but vehicle not ready so returned for another night. Given same room. Very clean and made to feel welcome. Mostly occupied by short stay guests but hotel is all you require. Very good.

  Worst experience of a Marriott Group hotel

  The hotel has apparently changed owners again. This is the third name change in 5 years. Formerly known as Tryp or Precise House, it is now called Four and belongs to the Marriott group. One should expect appropriate service there. However, this was not granted to us.We had already rated the hotel under its previous name. The conditions of the hotel remain unchanged regarding location, etc. Without a car, you are lost here. However, the service of the hotel has deteriorated significantly. We stayed in the hotel for 3 days. During these few days, neither was the bed made nor was it changed. The towels were also not replaced. Even toilet paper was not replenished. The entire room was not cleaned or tidied up.Upon inquiry at the reception, we were told that they would take care of it. However, something only happened after the 4th inquiry. The reception did apologize for this, but we have never experienced such poor service in any Marriott in the world. The staff either needs to be trained or replaced. This is unacceptable and condescending towards guests.A complaint to the Marriott headquarters has remained unanswered to this day, which gives us a lot to think about. Does the customer mean anything to the Marriott group?The only bright spot was the breakfast, which was acceptable so far. However, the preparation of omelets was denied under the excuse that it was not desired by the hotel. This is somewhat problematic for international guests, as the breakfast has not improved and does not offer enough for international guests.All in all, we can say that we will think carefully about staying at this hotel again. The service has become so awful that it is no longer acceptable for an international group like Marriott. On our next visit to the region, we are very likely to choose another hotel.

  this hotel dosen't deserve 4 star : maybe 2

  room not very clean, we had torn pillowcase, the bath towel and sheets smelled very bad (cigarette), empty bottle of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and we had to wate about 40 minutes to get one. Fisrt the receptionnist told us that he dosen't have any and that we have to wait until tomorrow morning. We ferused this option and insisted to have shampoo for hair. And he gave us one after 40 minutes. Breakfast room : no place to sit, tables not cleared, and when cleared, they were not cleaned.
