    I have stayed here several times, but this will probably be my last visit. The hotel feels increasingly commercial rather than genuinely guest-focused. Service at reception was indifferent, questions were answered reluctantly, and overall hospitality was lacking.The Sky Lounge restaurant was particularly disappointing. Prices are high, but the food quality does not match them. When I asked for a mocktail, the staff did not seem to understand the concept. After explaining that it is simply a cocktail without alcohol, I was told to order a soft drink instead. Cocktails were only available from 5:30 PM.For a hotel that aims to offer an upscale experience, this was surprisingly unprofessional. There are better hotels in the area that understand what hospitality means.     Rude staff blaming the customer

    We booked a Premium King Room at a rate of €259 per night. When making the reservation one month in advance, I explicitly added a note stating a preference for a premium room with a bath. Given the price point, I reasonably expected this preference to be checked against availability, or to be informed in advance if it could not be accommodated. That way we would have had time to switch rooms.I never received a response.Day of arrival, we checked in. No bath in our room. I asked the front desk how that could be the case, and if there was another room available. This is how (part of) the conversation went, word for word:"You booked a premium room. Unfortunately they don't have baths.""We saw on the booking page that some of them could have a bath.""I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Please show me where you read that. None of our premium rooms have a bath. So I can't just [magically] put one in there for you."Those remarks really have no place in a four-star hotel. Professionally, it was weak and dismissive. The correct approach would have been to acknowledge my booking note, apologize for the lack of pre-arrival communication, and calmly explain the situation. If expectations are not managed in advance, the customer should never be blamed for having them upon arrival. A huge mistake was made here.The conversation went nowhere and we walked away with two soft drink vouchers. Not quite fit for a €259/night premium room, failed expectation management and an unprofessional interaction.Adding to the frustration: during check-out the next morning, a different front desk employee (she was very friendly) told us that two premium rooms do in fact have a bath. That directly contradicts what we were told the night before. We do have two Premium rooms with a bathtub located inside the bathroom, without a view from the tub. Guests who specifically wish to have a freestanding bathtub with a view can find this feature exclusively in our Deluxe Junior Suites.Regarding your pre-arrival note: requests entered during the booking process are treated as preferences, not as guaranteed features, unless explicitly confirmed by the hotel in advance. Nevertheless, we sincerely apologize that your note was not proactively addressed prior to arrival, as clearer communication could have helped manage expectations.We are also very sorry if the wording used during your check-in came across as dismissive or unprofessional.     Very good stay.Not so new, but very clean and safe hotel.Very good breakfast and the Sky Bar is wonderful. Unfortunately there was no restaurant available.
