  Great Airport Hotel, large rooms, nice pool, but inconsistent service

  Overall, this is a very pleasant airport hotel with spacious rooms, an excellent pool and spa area, and a particularly welcome standard check-out time of 12:00 noon, which does not even appear to require a late check-out request. For an overnight stay before a flight or a trade show, the hotel is a very good choice.Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent. The check-in experience was excellent and exactly what one would expect from a hotel in this category. However, there were no bathrobes or slippers in the room. We assumed they would be available in the spa area, but there was no staff member present to assist us, leaving us with no choice but to walk back to our room in wet swimwear.Room service was even more disappointing. While the staff remained polite throughout, there seemed to be a lack of understanding of what good service entails. Although the hotel provides a dedicated room service phone number and accepts orders by telephone, the staff member insisted that we place our order via a QR code instead. When we declined, our order took almost two hours to arrive. The food itself was mediocre at best and, for a hotel of this category, the quality was frankly unacceptable.To the hotel's credit, the service manager was understanding and responsive to our feedback and ultimately removed the meal from the bill. It would, of course, be preferable if such issues did not arise in the first place, but at least the hotel's handling of the situation demonstrated a genuine desire to do better.

  A luxurious start to our family vacation

  A lovely, luxurious, and spacious suite with great comfort. The soundproofing is excellent — we didn’t hear any aircraft noise at all despite being right across from the airport.The location couldn’t be better: just a one-minute walk to the terminal.The staff was friendly, although the service could feel a bit more warm and personal.The only minor downside was that the room felt quite warm. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

  Great hotel

  Stayed here after a flight got in late at night and I didn't want to take a late night train to Cologne. The hotel is a short walk from the airport. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very spacious. The bar is dimly lighted and has a cosy feel to it. Perfect location for the airport and great quality sleep here too.

  Careful with the booking website

  I am very used to booking hotel rooms and have stayed at this hotel many times - it is a great hotel with good rooms , walking distance to the airport, and excellent food optionsThe problem is the website is tricky to navigate and this is compounded by the booking team only work to 6 pm every day…weird for a chain of hotels of this high standardI booked a room thinking it was for 2 weeks ahead but by the time I looked at the paperwork I realised it had booked that night…. Calling the hotel did not help - they advised emailing central reservations. Central reservations did not respond until prompted by another email the next day when they simply said I lost my euro 200Poor websitePoor central reservation availabilityPoor customer service responseBut good hotelBe super careful on the booking site
