  DON'T !!!!! It’s embarrassing that Accor keeps this hotel under the brand.

  I checked in to two rooms and checked out 15 minutes later - literally leaving without even knowing where we would go next, just to get out of there.The hotel is extremely outdated. It looks like it hasn’t been renovated in 40 years. The overall condition barely reaches a 1-star level. Everything feels worn, neglected, and frozen in time.The worst part is the smell throughout the entire property - in the lobby, hallways, and inside the rooms. It’s a strong, unpleasant odor, hard to even define. It could be old dampness, an overused disinfectant or cleaning chemical, or mold, or simply the smell of a very old building and furniture. Whatever the source, it is overwhelming and very uncomfortable.I do want to make it clear that the staff seemed professional, polite, and attentive. It appears they are doing their best to maintain cleanliness and provide good service.My criticism is directed solely at the physical condition of the hotel and at the ownership that continues to operate and host guests in a property in this state.   Not Accor Quality

  Our priority is cleanliness in accommodation, so we chose Accor Hotels. We didn’t encounter any negative details regarding this. The hotel is located in the city center, which gives an opportunity to travel around easily.However, the building is very old. This is the oldest hotel we have ever stayed in, and we really didn’t like it. There hasn’t been even a little renovation. We definitely do not recommend staying here! This is not the Accor quality that we have experienced before.   Well located in city

  No more than a five minute walk from the train station and on a tram line , this hotel is conveniently located . Check in staff were excellent and the reception bar and dining area all looked as though they have had a recent refurbishment. The bedroom were spacious and clean but needed tlc with chipped paintwork etc . However we could put up with that for the location.   Don’t stay on a Sunday

  Very clean hotel.Didn’t understand why if I scanned a QR code I could check in earlier but turned out they didn’t have any rooms free so pointlessBar and lounge do not open on a .   I have previously used this hotel, although that was 8 years ago so thought I would write a more up to date reviewThis hotel is in a great location being only 5 minutes from the main railway station and a 20 minute stroll to the Altstadt.I had a double room which was located on the front of the hotel. The room was nice and big with probably a king size bed which was very comfortable, The bathroom had a bath with a shower over it which was suitable for what it is meant to do.The room was clean and was cleaned everyday by the staff.The rest of the hotel that we used was also very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the bar (attached to the hotel) every night of our visit and that was also clean and tidy and the lady who worked their was, again, very friendly and chatty.We chose not to have the breakfast (choosing to find local places) so cannot comment on the food.It was also helpful that the English spoken by the staff was very good. I was the only German speaker in my group so it was reassuring that others could also approach staff without feeling nervous about any language barrier, or requiring me to be with themI have only two things to be wary of and are more of advice for guests, than problems. The first one was that being on the front when the trams were running late at night and early in the morning they could possibly either keep you awake or wake you up if you are a light sleeper. The second point is in regards to the safe in the room. If I recall some rooms may have a electronic safe, but mine needed a key which I could get from the reception but needed a €50 cash deposit, which is returned when you hand the key back or imprint to a credit card, the hotel could maybe invest in replacing the safes..
