Location

The hotel is located north of Düsseldorf, within easy reach of the financial centres of Düsseldorf, Essen, Neuss and Cologne. Düsseldorf International Airport is just about 3 km from the hotel, while Cologne - Bonn Airport is approximately 80 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 169 non-smoking rooms located in a 5-storey main building and an auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Myself and 5 other friends stayed here for 5 nights.One of the reasons we picked this hotel was due to its pool/sauna/gym facilities. We were puzzled as we were informed by hotel staff that all of these facilities were closed bar the gym which had limited equipment (1 treadmill). We were extremely dissatisfied with this as it is false advertisement. That being said staff who worked on the bar were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were tidy, comfortable and a good size. Despite the hotel not being too central to the city centre the local train station provides good travel links too and from.

    Stayed here for 1 night only on business and that was enough. Room was really basic, a double bed with a blanket for only one and only one very thin pillow (asked for another one). A small desk with a tiny old tv (only German) and a bathroom with no atmosphere whatsoever. No aircon.On-site restaurant and breakfast were fine. I’m going to find another place next time.

    It is a budget hotel quite close to the airport. The dinner was very average. Rooms and facilities are quite rundown and would need renovation. Rooms was also not really fresh smelling. It felt like going back in time.

    Business Hotel With No Real Internet

    The hotel is a 12 € taxi drive away from Dusseldorf airport. Other than that, you may walk or take some terrible bus connection. Or, of course, arrive with your own car. Which is preferred, as it is quite difficult / expensive to get to Dusseldorf Old Town or the trade fair grounds any other way. The place is clearly designed to be a bland business hotel in the middle of an industrial area. With spacious, boring rooms, a small fitness area and a sauna that seems to be not used very often as open only 7am to 10 pm. And, of course, with expensive breakfast at 17(!) Euro. still, what really got me mad, was the Telecom Internet hotspot. It is really, really slow even by German standards. Forget Netflix, you may count yourself lucky if you can receive your mails. Not really possible to work online. Can not recommend it for business or leisure traveller.

    This is a typical "airport-hotel".If you want to sleep with an open window you better should look for a hotel not so close to the airport. You also can hear the autoroute next to the hotel.The room I had was alright and spacious enough. The bed was also ok.It's more the little details that could/should be improved.
