Location

This hotel enjoys a central location in the Rhineland capital, right by the Deutschen Oper am Rhein (opera house). The famous Kö (Königsallee) starts right by the hotel and presents a stunning, grand kilometre of shops. Guests are just a few minutes walk from the beautiful old town and the nearest bus stop. In addition, the Rhine Residence of Düsseldorf with its charm and chic atmosphere is also within easy reach to explore. The picturesque city by the Rhine promenade is world-famous and has the international reputation of a cultural and modern metropolis. Special sightseeing attractions are the art collection with Picasso and Beuys paintings, the Heinrich-Heine-Institut, the Goethe Museum as well as various cabarets. The convention centre is roughly 9 km away and links to the public transport network are to be found within 3 km from the hotel. Furthermore, Düsseldorf airport is some 6 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1902 and modernised in 2025. The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 129 non-smoking rooms.     Best location in town,old style with nice rooms.Restaurant with excellent food but slow service,understaffed.Top breakfast,valet parking outside entrance.     I’m currently staying at the Steinberger Parkhotel. It’s a little tired everywhere, but ok ish. It’s nowhere near the quality of 5 star hotel. The people who work here have behaved all week, like a bunch of students who wish they were in the pub, and also really really wish that the guests didn’t exist (I suppose I’d feel the same if I hadn’t paid £250 a night to stay here). The bar is averagely busy, and they are trying to make different couples sit together at the same table, so they can save tables for groups of four people in case it actually does get busy (which it won’t).It’s so pathetic, it’s actually quite funny. There are lots of disgruntled coupes getting increasingly angry with each other, instead of telling the bar manager. The employees, throughout the hotel, don’t seem to have a clue what they are doing. It’s nicely expensive for drinks though (which is to be expected. I’m not complaining about that) and the tables that are not being used are piled high with uncleared glasses left by the previous occupants. Aside from this the hotel is average it has gone downhill. It’s a shame.     Stayed for 3 nights for Boot Dusseldorf - great location on Konigsallee, across the road from the opera house and a short walk to the bars and restaurants of the Altstadt and the Rhine river. Hotel is next to a park and there is no street noise. Smart, upmarket hotel with very large, clean, well-appointed, comfortable rooms. Staff are superb and are all very helpful. Great breakfast with lots of choice served by a very professional and efficient young team. Great restaurant plus a sauna and fitness suite. One of the best all-round hotel experiences I've had and a very enjoyable stay! Would definitely stay here again!
