A good hotel for either a short or longer stay.
25 Oct 2025
My room was really clean and very quiet. I stayed here for a week and there was no noise at all throughout my stay. There was a large choice of breakfast items and all bread, fruit, etc. was fresh and tasty.Reception staff were very happy to answer the random questions I asked during my stay. My bedroom had an extra bed in, which I did not need, and I asked for this to be removed which happened really quickly and without any fuss. Hotel Manager, Owner at Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf City Nord, responded to this review Dear guest,Thanks for this great rating. We're delighted you chose Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf City Nord for your week-long stay. Our team takes pride in maintaining spotless accommodations, and we're thrilled you appreciated the peaceful environment of your room. It's wonderful you enjoyed the diverse breakfast selection featuring fresh ingredients each morning. We're equally pleased our reception staff could promptly assist with both your inquiries and the removal of the unused bed, ensuring your comfort remained our priority throughout your visit. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Best regards,Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf City Nord

Ok stay
07 Dec 2024
We stayed here for a few nights when visiting for the euro 2024 football tournament. The hotel was ok, it was right out of the way of dussledorf centre and we had to get a cab to and from each day. The hotel bar was pretty good, the breakfast was terrible. The rooms were good enough for a 2 night stay Hotel- cmanager, Owner at Mercure Hotel Dusseldorf City Nord, responded to this review Dear Guest, Thanks for your review about our hotel. We are delighted that you found our hotel bar to be a highlight during your stay. Our wide range of drinks and the atmosphere at the Piazza Bar are aspects we are very proud of.However, we regret to hear that our location was not as convenient for you as hoped and that our breakfast offerings did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments as they are crucial in helping us improve our guest experience. Finally, it is great to know that you found the rooms satisfactory for your short visit. We understand how essential a comfortable room is, especially when you're traveling for events like the Euro 2024 football tournament. We are hoping to welcome you back in the future. All the best.Mercure Hotel Düsseldorf City Nord

Bad experience
23 Jun 2023
Hello,I wish for all when they book a hotel to be very careful,I forgot my apple watch in the room that we booked it no.142 , and after 30 minute from checking out I called the hotel and the women in the reception answered, said that they will check, then after couple of minutes she called me and said they couldn't find it .I went there to check , and the room was cleaned also the room was already given already to their new guest . I asked the staff again and they said they searched but it was not there and checked again in the tracking app of apple , it shows the location of the watch which is (the Hotel location) .that's really first time happened to me and I'm shocked .I couldn't get my watch until now ,so I hope you better be careful .Thank you
