  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Fritz!The room was clean, functional and at the same time cozy. We had requested a room facing the courtyard, and we loved the fact that we got exactly that and that it was really quiet. The bed was comfy and the room could be completely darkened at night.A major advantage was that the windows overlooking the courtyard could be opened, and it also had an emergency staircase in case of fire that could be accessed directly from the room.AC/heating worked well.The breakfast was delicious and really abundant with real espresso and for those who drink tea, that was also really good.The hotel leaves a complimentary bottle of water in the minibar every day, which is much appreciated. A kettle and tea bags would be a nice touch in the room.All the hotel staff were very friendly and professional. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!What we didn't like: The glass walls of the bathroom didn't completely win us over, but in the end, we didn't mind. The real drawback is that there's only one door, which serves two purposes: closing the bathroom or the shower. This was problematic because, when showering, whether we used the single door to close the shower or the bathroom, the entire floor in front of the shower would get wet. Perhaps adding a folding shower door would solve the problem? Or even a curtain, while not very elegant, would be better than getting the whole floor wet, either while showering or when closing the bathroom door completely soaked. Perhaps at least leaving a glass cleaner to dry the door before getting out of the shower?

  The Fritz-DUS is located in a convenient part of Dusseldorf. The service is friendly, the rooms recently updated and clean, and while a bit on the small side, perfectly adequate for business travelers. Overall it is a good value in Dusseldorf.

  Best bed and shower of our 3 week trip, enjoyed wine each night on our semi private balcony, decor is posh staff helpful and a fair walk to old town but a lovely walk - bathroom art wall is a bit sheer but no problem could use a regular chair instead of barstool but otherwise good

  Cosy & clean boutique hôtel in Dusseldorf

  Really limed thé cosy design of the rooms. Mine was spotless, very calm & quiet, and bed was very confortable.Very easy access to the central station (15mns walk or 5mns tram) and 5mns away from our office…will definitively come back.Staff is also very nice and helpful.

  Friendly staff and very Nice rooms. Good location and we could park our car around the corner. Breakfast was also very Nice. A lot of choices and good coffee!
