    ... whether you want to stroll into town on foot, catch a ride with the Schwebebahn or get in and out by car, this is THE place close to it all. SUPER friendly and personable staff. Housekeeping attention to detail hardly seen anywhere else. Breakfast buffet impeccable. Micro fridge would be a "Nice to have", in room safe deposit box a "Must have" on my personal list, but I'd book another stay in a heartbeat.     Worst Hotel experience in decades. We booked the hotel late in the evening we asked about a air conditioned room. We checked in and immediately went to a nearby restaurant. When we came back the room still was like a sauna. So I went down to the reception and conplained. Well the airconditioning in the entire hotel is not working . They refused to payback the rate but after arguing with the hotel manager who came up with 100 different excuses instead of just give me my money back so we could book a different hotel .. Hotel manager was a total jerk. At the time of your stay, our air conditioning was unfortunately out of order for technical reasons, which we very much regret.     Terrible service - avoid hotel

    - very centrally located hotel in downtown Wuppertal with modern decorhowever:- service is terrible to non-existent- on second night, returned to my room in the evening to find that room had not been cleaned and all towels were on the floor- called reception --> reaction = no apology, but a weird statement that the "cleaning girls" are sometimes not reliable - asked, if I could have at least a set of fresh towels --> reaction = will have to check - 10 min later, returned with 1 towel as staff couldn't find anything elsein summary: unacceptable - will never return Dino Klass, General Manager at Vienna House Easy By Wyndham Wuppertal, responded to this review Dear guestWe are sorry to read that your room has not been cleaned.     Lovely location, excellent rooms, decent breakfast.But their booking system is useless. Every time I have been there, it took them ages to find me in their system. And while the male reception staff is at least helpful and friendly, the female ones tend to be horrible.     Would recommend. nice clean, tidy boutique sort of place - only about 75 rooms ish - staff all very welcoming and helpful, rooms were large (mine was a mini suite with seperate lounge are - not sure if they are all like this) Food was good - breaksfast is all self service. I had one evening meal, menu was huge but good enough, and what I had was really good. Handy for the main train station and the town - max 10 mins walk.
