  …u don’t have any problem. The stuff was kind but not able to help. I booked two rooms but I got one cause the hotel was overbooked. Let’s see if I get the refound for the room I did not got.   Mixed feelings

  I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Firstly the suite we had was really large. We had a kitchenette, spacious lounge area and a bed area. All good.Downside is its location; one of the shadiest areas in Frankfurt. I mean, one wrong turn and you can do a drug deal and choose from an array of ladies of the night all in one transaction!Back to the room. It was a bit grotty, dusty and had greasy nose prints on the window. There were also long black hairs every where - and I mean everywhere. They were in a decorative fruit bowl, in the shower, on the couch on the bed! I have short white hair and my husband hasn't much hair at all so definitely not ours. See pics below.So the first day we went out and upon our return found our room hadn't been cleaned. A quick check of the hotel guide on the TV revealed that housekeeping is done daily. Ok, they missed our room, it happens, no biggie, but the next day it happened again. My husband asked reception who advised housekeeping is done very three days - sorry forgot to update the TV guide. They gave us some replacement towels and apologised. On the third day, housekeeping visited. We returned to find more towels but our bin hadn't been emptied. In a place with a kitchenette where you do your own cooking, you really need your bin emptied reasonably regularly. But no...see pic. Over the five nights we stayed our bin wasn't emptied at all.Finally, no tea towel. We were using the kitchenette and washing our plates and cutlery after use but no towel. We used one of the clean hand towels from the bathroom.Look, it sounds like a bad review, but it wasn't the worst place I've stayed in. Would I stay again? Well, that depends on whether they improve their cleaning standards. We learned how to walk a circuit of an additional 10 mins to avoid 'shady street' so if I was desperate, if I wasn't staying more than 1 or 2 nights, then yes, I probably would.Bye the way, as we checked out we reported our dissatisfaction over the cleanliness and poor communication over the housekeeping. The receptionist offered us a free breakfast to compensate - which was nice of him - but we had a train to catch and had to decline.

  Good apartments near to the Messe, expect much service

  The Adina is one of around 10+ hotels in a 500 meter radius of the Frankfurt Messe: there are the budget basics, as well as the higher end Marriott and NH. The Adina is somewhere in the middle, priced below the big brands but with enough amenities that you don't feel like you're in "four walls with a bed". The apartments are spacious, and the in room laundry is perhaps the best feature. The bathroom is bright and well appointed, with nice amenities (no conditioner though). There is a good selection of cutlery and plates in case you want to eat meals there. The rooms aren't very bright if you're on the lower floors becuase you're surrounded by tall buildings. There is no view. Service can be hit and miss, as this is Europe and they probably don't have enough staff. One of three elevators broke on the 2nd day of my stay and stayed that way without any signs of it getting repaired. i asked for cleaning service the day before) following the instructions in the room, and it wasn't done. You have to ask for it, and then remind them until it happens. When they did clean the room, they removed towels and didn't replace them. The gym is quite basic, but there is a very good Basic Fit around 800 meters away where you can get a day pass for 12 Euros. the location is otherwise fantastics, close to the tram and U bahn, close to the Messe, even walking distance to the main station the area is a typical business district, it is not seedy like the areas in front of the station. If i have to do another event at the Messe, i might stay here again.

  Modern clean spacious apartment!

  Excellent base to visit the sights in Frankfurt.Apartment was exactly as described, clean modern and everything required to make food or wash and dry clothes all at no extra cost.We did not have breakfast here but believe it is around 20e or 18e if booked the night before. The small lounge area is comfortable with a small selection of snacks to purchase.Nearby to u- ban which gives great access for sightseeing.Two minute walk to the Skyline Plaza which has a supermarket, food hall and sky bar on the roof.
