    Second hand smoke- hated it

    With an open window and a bathroom fan on, my room was filled with smoke from a smoking area just outside my window of room 804. Worst room and worst stink ever. Stay clear of this place!

    We arrived early in the morning after a transatlantic flight. Perhaps we were just lucky but the owner Mr. Lee was extremely accommodating and was able to have a room ready for us within an hour of our arrival. The rooms are updated, basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Definitely great value for a stopover hotel on our journey.

    Don't confuse the Holiday Inn Express for the Airport Holiday Inn Express like I did! This Holiday Inn is for locals. No free shuttle transportation to or from airport and very far from anything. No bar or restaurant, urber or other transport. Reception not friendly and no wifi...that pretty much sums the place up.

    We slept here one night prior to a flight back home. We didn't realize they don't have a shuttle but the front desk suggested the bus as an option. (Right now you can get a month long train and bus pass in Germany for 9 Euros). The bus was a great option as we had the 9 Euro pass so the bus was free. It only takes a few minutes longer than a taxi which is 25 euro. The hotel breakfast was lovely.There are a couple nice restaurants nearby. We enjoyed the Martin's Thai. There's no bar or restaurant in this discount hotel. No A/C either. It served our needs just fine.

    Name "Airport Hotel .... " is misleading! Be aware if you don`t have a car

    Be aware, if you are looking for a cheap hotel to stay for a night before flight - this is not a right decision if you don`t have a car!No airport shuttle, they call a cab witch don`t take credit card! Only cash and no receipt. Trip to airport 20 euros. If going twice - total it is additional 40 euros!You could get a better hotel with restaurant to have dinner and with airport shuttle for same price! Be aware!
