  Disappointing stay

  Disappointing stay. The receptionist with glasses had absolutely no tact and made me feel uncomfortable; he was rude. I went down to reception at 9:00 a.m. for breakfast, only to be told it was over, even though it clearly says it’s served until 10:30 a.m. Moreover, the breakfast offered was extremely basic, with no variety at all. Very disappointed with this experience.

  This is a 3-star hotel - its ok for that.I came here for business - just wanted a room and breakfast - and it was fine.The room was a little small and the bathroom a little cramped, but I asked for a room with a bed and that's what I got. It was fine.The breakfast was quite a decently done.There's nothing else to say about the hotel other than the location - a pretty good location more or less exactly in-between the Hbf (main station) and the Messe - about 15 min walk from each, so quite a good location for business purposes.Google thinks that there's a pizza restaurant more-or-less opposite but the real world disagrees. However, if you turn left from the hotel and follow the road round then you come to a big shopping centre and a couple of restaurants too.

  Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

  We were part of a wedding group who wanted to stay in a hotel on the 29th August, then at the wedding venue for 2 nights before returning to the hotel on the 1st and 2nd September. We chose the Hotel Attaché but unfortunately when we went to the rooms we found them to be in a very poor state.Two of our party managed to find another hotel but the rest of us stayed because it was already late.In the morning we paid fully for our rooms and then explained to the staff that we would be cancelling the other 2 days and finding another hotel. They fully understood and asked us to also put it in an email to the owner. We did this straight away.This was some of the issues we found:Leaking and dirty kettles, dirty bedding with blood stains, lack of lighting (either missing or blown bulbs), lack of power to the television and showers that didn’t work properly.When we arrived back in the UK we found that the hotel had billed us and taken over £800 as a late cancellation fee!We ended up getting the money back via our bank. Sleeping on a park bench would have been better that staying in the dirty hotel and the owner needs to think really hard how to deal with complaints. You should definitely avoid this grotty hotel!!

  Mismanaged hotel in decline.

  I have stayed at Attaché several times; and I am sorry to say that the quality has gone down over the years. It has one premium quality and that is proximity to the Messe. Otherwise the rooms are smelly, noisy, unfriendly and impersonal. And expensive - or just as expensive as neighboring and much better hotels. Service has also deteriorated, now it’s very difficult to get adequate help from reception, which closes at 10 pm which feels not safe in a district becoming more scary by the years - concrete buildings, few ordinary people, some drunk tourists, and several suspicious looking locals.

  A quiet, comfortable stay in Frankfurt

  The hotel was in a very quiet part of the city and easy to get a tram to the main station or the old town.I only stayed one night.The reception staff were helpful and friendly.It was a little warm as there was no aircon, but a table fan was provided).
