  AVOID!!!!!!!

  Booked a room here in advance. After many, many hours of travelling, we arrived. We needed to sleep after travelling, but struggled as they were refurbishing the whole of the fourth floor! So it was relentless drilling and hammering. Not one member of staff had the courtesy to contact us before hand to say this was going to be taking place during our stay. I've recently checked their website, it states they will be having workers in to refurbish until 2025. So if you have a reservation booked between now and then, I recommend cancelling, and finding another hotel. This is just the beginning. :DThe day after, of course, we were woken up to more drilling and hammering. We actually had a knock from one of the workers, who had to work in the room while we were in there! Granted, it took no more than 5 minutes, but an inconvenience nevertheless.A few hours later, another knock on the door. We decided we didn't want to let anyone else in and ignored it. The hotel staff then proceeded to open our door and said we'd ordered room service. Not the case. I now have a hunch what it may have regarded. Read on :DThe day after, we left a do not disturb sign on the door and went out for the day. We came back to find our room had been entered... THEY TOOK OUT OUR DOUBLE BED WHICH WAS REQUESTED AND PAID FOR, AND SWAPPED IT WITH TWO SINGLES!!!!!! I'm still in absolute disbelief!!!!And my hunch was that they intended to do this when they knocked the day before. Anyway...I went straight downstairs to complain, was told the manager wasn't in until Monday by which we would be checked out and gone... We were offered another additional room, which doesnt make any sense to accept as a family of 3 with a young child. We were told they cant bring back the double bed which we'd slept in for two nights already and paid for!!!!!!!Free breakfast was offered.... which we declinded. I wish wish WISH someone informed us of the refurbishment before hand, so we could have booked else where for an actual BREAK. I'd rather be back home!!!! I have booked time off work, it's cost a lot of money, and we are not happy. Not one bit. A total waste of time and money if you ask me.The rooms are INCREDIBLY basic for the amount we paid. They advertise they have sky family on their tv, it doesn't work. We are limited to about 4 German channels.Had they given us the courtesy of informing us of the refurbishment, we would have absolutely cancelled and booked elsewhere, which I'm assuming they knew would be the case, so didn't bother to inform the guests before their arrival. So they blind sided us and took our money anyway!This is by far the WORST hotel I have stayed at. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JOKE HOTEL. Save your money and book elsewhere.

  Bad service. Chairs outside locked with chain so not able to use. Towels not replaced. Was here with friends for couple days. Breakfast is basic. Ham, cheese and boiled eggs. Coffee not really good. Only good thing is that it is close to the train station.   Close to station - yet very quiet and clean

  Stayed there for one night only but were not disappointed despite uncertaincy due to close proximity to train station.The hotel is directly beside the station which made us worry about the night. But to our highest relief we did not hear a single thing, although our room was facing the station right away. Nothing to hear at all. Brilliant windows!Room small but clean, all you needed there. Ideal situation for example for Frankfurt fair stay, within 20 minutes by train in Frankfurt, as well convenient to the airport or something like this.Few restaurants around the corner.All in all much better than anticipated and statements on the website are correct.Breakfast menu however was sparse but that was foreseable.

  A good budget hotel worth considering

  Very clean rooms, well maintained premises. Breakfast is okay, check in and check out process very efficient. Can be a bit cold, thermostat doesn’t go up much, I’m told it’s a German thing but I’m not sure, fortunately there are extra blankets readily available. Best if you want to use the train line which is very close by.

  Not bad for a business stay

  I stayed at this hotel in November 2016 when on a business trip with a large number of colleagues for three nights. Basic hotel but modern. The hotel is very near to the station which was great for our evening trip to the Christmas markets in Frankfurt and is also walking distance to the centre of Bad Homburg. No bar area to retreat to in the evening but there is a vending machine where you can purchase beer and wine if you fancy a drink upon returning to the hotel. Adequate buffet breakfast. Our room was not very large for two of us but was again modern and clean.
