  Peaceful stay at Dorint

  The hotel is about 40 min away from the airport, there is a mall nearby and the property is amazing, surrounded by greenery and on countryside. The rooms are spacious and neat and clean loved the reception are where there are mini games to play and a beautiful sitting area, it was a comfortable stay and moreover the farms nearby adds to the beauty.   Great Hotel, but far from city.

  The Dorint is a typical 4 star hotel chain. Room was very comfortable with all the usual amenities. there is a nice gym and sauna for use with no extra charge. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Be aware. There doesn't seem to be anything within walking distance. It is about 8 kilometers from the Frankfurt airport. The hotel is accessible by S-Bahn and bus but it takes around 45 mins to 1 hour. We opted for Uber. It was about 23 Euros and we were there in 15 minutes. We decided to dine at the hotel bar. The ambiance was very warm and cozy. Waiter was very friendly and spoke perfect English. We had a pasta dish that was incredible. Not sure if I would stay here again only because of the distance to Frankfurt. Had to go to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof the next morning. could have taken S-Bahn but it was a 15 -20 min walk. Weather was bad so we again took Uber. 29 euros. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice, definitely 4 stars.   The room has not been cleaned. More precise pieces of poop is in the toilet. Furthermore, someone also brought half-drinked coffee for us. Also towels on the floor, bed dirty. Parking €12 every day, for the hotel in middle of nowhere. My dear Germans, if something like this happened to you in Croatia, they would fill their media with how expensive and messy Croatia is.   Mixed feelings ….

  The hotel is more or less in the middle of nowhere, unless you want to visit Sulzbach or have transportation to Frankfurt. On the one hand they seem to focus on business people, on the other hand on tourists (that may be disappointed that that city center is relatively far away).Nevertheless, basic rooms with a bed, desk, tv, bathroom, refrigerator (with only a bottle of water in it, but you can get drinks, snacks etc in the lobby, which is self service or at the bar when open) etc. WiFi works, but think the connection to the WiFi point works with a carrier pigeon that takes the data from your room to the internet point of the hotel (and having internet probably adds the fourth star to the rating they give on their internet site).Breakfast is ok, not overwhelming, but there are scrambled eggs, cooked eggs, as well as yoghurts, fruits, cheeses etc, so what you expect as a minimum in a four star hotel.All by all good to stay for business trips but not exceeding expectations.   Hotel food is extortionate far too much for average food. However good hotel clean, however sometimes bed sheets have dirty marks. In middle of nowhere but there is a shopping centre 5 min walk away so it’s not too bad. Friendly staff with good English, also sell Ben n jerries at reception, bonus.
