Europa Life does not correspond to what they advertise online

    rating03 Jan 2025

We booked this four-star hotel (Life is 3 stars, Style is 4 stars) via the booking platform and were absolutely shocked to discover the hygiene and maintenance problems. The location is very good, practically next to the railway station and not far from the old town. The girl and the two other emplyees at the reception were very kind, but I cannot say this about the manager. The photos I am attaching to this review are exactly what we discovered and went through together with the reception staff. I am ready to provide all details of my booking and experience to any reviewer who might think I am trying to post some fake information. Indeed, the floor under the beds was covered with dust, hair, and there was even a hair pin with hair in it under the bed, I found the red patch on my blanket cover, dirt inside sockets etc., a broken reading lamp. That was the double room on the 5th floor. They tried offering an identical room on the 3rd floor, but it had the same hygiene problems. Maybe some years ago the hotel was nice, clean and beautiful, which a four-star hotel should be, but at the moment it is shabby, dirty and run down.

    Best hospitality hotel Frankfurt

    rating06 Aug 2024

I selected this hotel using booking.com and was worried about the reviews on safety with interesting characters walking around nearby. In actual fact, if you walk during the day, and find the right path, it is safe and feels comfortable. If you’re coming by train, take the exit within the train station - turn right and go to the end. Cross over and keep walking and you will find the hotel. You will skip those scary characters I was talking about - then again it’s scary according to me because unfortunately, (or fortunately) I do live in a protected bubble where I’m from. This area where the hotel is, is safe! Location is definitely a plus point!! The staffs from reception to the ladies serving us at breakfast were just amazing! They’re friendly, helpful, warm and so welcoming! My partner confirms that he will be back for sure and so will I! A special mention to Sunny (I think I may have his name spelled wrongly) who checked us in and see us day in and out. He is so friendly and helpful! Thank you! The room size, the bed, the bathroom and the air con (so helpful during summer!) are just as you see in the pictures that others have posted! It’s a good sized room, and the amenities are excellent!

Good hotel close to train station

    rating19 May 2024

I stayed at this hotel for one night before taking a train to prague. The room had comfortable beds and a small range of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice and there was a range of foods available. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the main hauptbahnhof south entrance. I am a solo traveller and female and happy to recommend this hotel.

    Great stay, excellent staff

    rating05 Apr 2024

Stayed here over Easter to visit Frankfurt and surrounding towns/cities. Few min walk to the main station. Other reviews had said about the station area being unsafe and generally I can see why as lots of homeless/intoxicated people around but they didn't hassle me, I just walked them by. Being so close to the station was a massive plus I found. The hotel was really easy to find (tip use the right hand side exit of the station I think by platform 1 to exit station, then cross over the road and keep going and it's just there by Baseler platz tram stop). Hotel room was really spacious and a lot bigger than I thought I would have for such a central hotel and single room. Lovely powerful shower, mini fridge filled everyday with free beer, water and soft drinks. Bathroom was a very good size and walk in shower very powerful and nice water temperature. Bed was very comfy although a little lower than I would've liked, but wasn't no bother really, being picky now! WiFi was also a gripe of mine and had issues connecting while being in my room but coped and sometimes just used my phone Internet instead. Tram stop is literally opposite the hotel, so easy to get around with that and train station just a few mins walk away. Breakfast was good, not a massive selection, but pastries, Yoghurt, Cereal and they made me an omelette everyday with good coffee too. Staff were excellent, great service, very friendly. If I stayed in Frankfurt again, I would definitely stay here again and recommended to my family and friends. Am very pleased I picked this hotel, great value for what I got. Really great stay, very comfortable.

Excellent stay at a lovely hidden gem of a hotel.

    rating04 Dec 2023

Fabulous hotel. Staff were excellent. Lovely quiet room. Comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom. I had the best nights sleep I have had for ages. The surprise bonus was the well stocked complementary fridge which was generously re-stocked every day during our stay, including 4 large bottles of excellent German beer. Breakfast was a cold continental style breakfast which I would normally be disappointed by as I like a cooked breakfast when staying at hotels but the cheese, cold meats and smoked salmon totally made up for it. Great tea and coffee service at breakfast too. Absolute bargain for the price we paid.
