Location

The hotel lies inside the health climatic zone of Königstein. Königstein's historic city centre is in walking distance, where guests will find a number of shops, while a trip to Frankfurt and Wiesbaden takes around 20-30 min by car. For walks the historic Siesmayer Park right at the hotel is available all the time. Burg Falkenstein castle is around 1 km from the hotel and Opel Zoo is roughly 3 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1909. 14 suites, 33 apartments, 16 single rooms and 43 double rooms are available to guests in a 3-storey main building and 6 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. Souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

The pleasantly heated water of the indoor and outdoor pools guarantees comfortable swimming. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and tennis are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, squash and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room and a bar. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte. Set menus are available at dinner.     Best view on Frankfurt - super restaurant terrace and excellent rooms, if you are lucky to have your room to the right side. Rooms are spacious and luxurious. The Restaurant is ok given the top pricing niveau - not a Michelin star location.I loved the heated outdoor pool in the winter

    The hotel was to die for. From the moment we walked into the room it was amazing so clean, spacious and beautiful decor. We were only there for 2 nights but it was the best 2 nights spent. Breakfast was delicious so much variety and staff were very attentive and polite . We didn’t get the chance to utilise the spa as it was such a short stay but if and when we go back to Germany we will definitely stay there again.

    We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Falkenstein Grand. The hotel is set in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views over Frankfurt and the surrounding hills—perfect for a quiet getaway just outside the city.The heated outdoor pool was definitely a highlight! It’s beautifully maintained and a great place to unwind at any time of day. The spa facilities were also excellent and very clean.The staff were outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, we felt very well taken care of.Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection and was served in a very pleasant atmosphere.Highly recommended if you're looking for a peaceful, high-quality stay with great service and wellness facilities.

    This hotel is far cry from. 5 star resort. I & my husband stayed here for 3 nights and we have too many complaints to list here, from shabby rooms, very bad internet, very loud noise level coming from the outdoor restaurant until 1 am, and very cold indifferent staff. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not the one to consider.
