    3 stars maximum

    rating19 Feb 2026

This was my first time staying at this hotel. I usually stay at Hilton or Sofitel when in Frankfurt. However, this time we chose this hotel, as the prices at the other hotels were 5x normal. That was a big mistake. This hotel is definitely a 3 star hotel, nothing more. The lobby feels like a cheap office lobby. The hallways are in desperate need of an update, they smell, are dark and the carpet in almost worn out. Same thing within the rooms, carpet is dirty, and almost worn out. There is no airconditioning, only heated patters, and window to cool down. The experience was so shockingly bad that we did not care we had prepaid our whole stay without an option for a refund, that we still went to JW Marriott instead and there for paid for 2 rooms at different hotels. Maybe that reflects the experience at this hotel. The location is good tho.

Perfect location, very good choice in Frankfurt

    rating03 Oct 2025

To start with the first – the location of the hotel is probably one of the best in Frankfurt when thinking about closeness to shopping areas, metro is outside the hotel and several very nice restaurants are within walking distance. The check-in was nice but both at check-in and check-out there was confusion about payment. We had ordered the rooms through a third party – and I don’t know the logistics, but it would be great not to be asked for money twice. If this is a third-party hiccup, please don’t fixate on this comment. The lobby of the hotel is decorated with nice hydrangeas – not fresh but silk – but looks clever. The lobby is spacious and the small check-in counter could be larger to give the people working behind it a little bit more wiggle room. When you go further into the hotel there is a very nice coffee shop – and a big very nice table where it is possible to work. I see big potential for the coffee shop and I would offer more variety of pastries and snacks – and maybe some mocktails/cocktails in the evening. This is a really nice space with potential.Rooms: Two travellers, two rooms. Around 20 square meters was our choice. Would have been extra grateful for some conditioner and a body lotion. We stayed for two days all together so my only comment would be that we would have appreciated that we had fresh towels and garbage taken out of the rooms. Sheets changed every day is not necessary. For those sharing, know that in this room type the shower was integrated into the room with no possibility to hide. The WC was of course separate and a closed unit. Wonderful soap and shampoo from Malin + Goetz.Breakfast: A fantastic breakfast room on the 7th floor. Greeted by very polite and smiley employees. Be aware that some of the tables are very tightly stacked so if you want a private conversation please consider this. Selection of breakfast was top notch – a lady was cutting wonderful fruit and supplying fresh stuff all the time. Nice touch with hot water from a samovar for the tea – only missing lemon and honey. Wonderful selection of cheese, smoked salmon, charcuterie and freshly squeezed orange juice. Nothing was skimped on. I really enjoyed this breakfast.Close to the hotel there is a mini supermarket that is very convenient and also a drop-in hair salon that does wash and dries fast and cheap. Flemings is by the way opening a new brunch/dining concept, seems to be opening this autumn. So I hope that I will be back shortly to explore this.Would also like to give a nod to the person doing the art direction/ graphic work for the hotel- this is so good I would like to see it on small merch and souvenirs from the hotel. Caps, t-shirts, match boxes. So: Flemings Selection is one of the best choices you can do in Frankfurt – price point was good, breakfast great, staff friendly – and with my small minor changes, no less than perfect. I have before stayed at the Steigenberger Icon in Frankfurt – and now Flemings Selection is my preferred go-to in Frankfurt.

    Good Hotel

    rating27 Apr 2025

Overall, a great hotel and nothing to complain about. Beds are comfy, pillows are nice, and rooms are good. But here are a couple of pieces of feedback for the room I was put in. The hotel bathroom or room has no towel holder for the towel to be neatly hung to dry after use. This was surprising as the hotel is conscious about sustainability, and due to this issue, people may end up putting the towel aside for laundry/change by housekeeping. Also, there is no way to reach the reception or any other service you may need. i.e., no telephone in the room. The light goes on and off immediately after inserting the card and taking the card out, respectively, which is a bit unusual if you are entering or moving out of the room. The lights are generally on for a few seconds for guests to either enter or exit comfortably. These are minor things, but important for a complete feel-good experience.

All fine apart from the breakfast staff!

    rating09 Apr 2025

I normally stay at the Hilton only 100metres away. This time I decided to try this Flemings and I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff on reception were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Nice piano in reception they allowed me to play! Room was spacious, open plan and very good. Bed comfortable and the hotel is immediately opposite Elements gym - superb but for 30euros day pass it should be! So why only 4 out of 5 stars? Simple: staff at breakfast on 7th floor were very poor. Not at all welcoming from the young Asian man who seemed very keen to announce to me at 9.30 that they close at 10am as if in a “why didn’t you arrive earlier” condescending tone. Then when the plates ran out I asked a lady preparing food behind the counter if I could have a plate. Her face looked like I just asked her to accept no pay for the week! Very unhelpful. No cereals or if there were they were impossible to find. Very poor selection of food for my tastes. Shame as the city view from 7th floor is good, the seating new and very tasteful but the staff in that breakfast area need a good talking to or replacing. Otherwise a great stay and would return (but would not pay the 22e for breakfast and would eat out as there are lots of great places locally).

    A very pleasant stay

    rating05 Feb 2025

This has the overall feel of a business hotel despite the fact that its advertising strap line is "boutique at heart" However, it is a very pleasant hotel for all that. Its location is probably its biggest advantage, just 10 minutes walk from the old city and in easy reach of almost anywhere of interest. It's also adjacent to an U Bahn (underground) station. The room was well appointed and extremely quiet. A quiet room is at the top of the list of requirements for me, and because this one (535) appears to be at the back of the building with no view to speak of, it was pleasingly devoid of any noise at all. The bed is one of the best I've slept in in an hotel - firm without being hard - and I slept extremely well. Breakfast is also excellent. A good cooked breakfast is another must-have for me when staying an an hotel and the fare every morning in the restaurant at the top of the building is very good indeed. You also have a panoramic view of the city from there, and while Frankfurt doesn't exactly have a particularly remarkable sky line, it is pleasant to have the view. In warm weather you can sit on the balcony outside, facing the city. There is little to complain about with this hotel. Oddly for its level of quality, there are no hand creams or a shower cap provided (my wife pointed this out to me - I never use them), although there are shampoo and body wash dispensers provided. Housekeeping is on alternate days (this is something that irritates me but is becoming the norm) so you have to do some cleaning yourself, such as sluicing out the unsightly toothpaste splash stains from the dark brown glass sink. I do find the penny-pinching that hotels now engage in under the guise of 'green' policies to be annoying, and you can bet your boots that if those green policies cost them money rather than saving it, you'd never see or hear about them.In all, a good hotel in an excellent location, and one I would readily return to.
