Location

This hotel is situated right on the B486 in the business triangle of Frankfurt, Mainz and Darmstadt. Easy and rapid connections to the A5 motorway, the city centre and the surrounding business parks make the hotel the ideal location for overnight stays and conferences. Frankfurt International Airport is just some 10 km from the hotel.

Facility

106 single rooms and 80 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The hotel offers a number of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Other services include a transfer service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine. 5 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

    I enjoyed my night at the Holiday Inn Express. Staff were helpful. Originally my room key wouldn’t work in the elevator but that was fixed right away. I was given a large cup from the bar for ice as well. The area surrounding the hotel was great. There is even a small lake with a bench. The airport shuttle was an added bonus. Room was clean and modern. Would stay here again.

    When my flight was delayed, I was stuck in Frankfurt for a night en route from Warsaw to USA. The airline put me in this hotel. The shuttle to the hotel was a bit tricky in a huge crowd, but once we figured it out, and were on board, it was fine. The hotel received a large crowd of us all at once that needed to eat and check in. They asked half of us to sit and eat while the other half checked in to expedite the process. The meal was very tasty and welcomed after a hectic day of travel delays. After dinner I waited about 5 min in line to check in, and then went to my room. The room was wonderfully modern, redone, and clean. The bathroom was very updated, a welcome sight after a week in Poland with an older bathroom. It's probably a European thing, but the duvet was quite small for the bed, but I was alone, so it was fine. I had breakfast the following morning and it was very tasty, so much better than American hotel breakfasts (I dont eat eggs etc.), with loads of fresh bread options, raw vegetables, and deli meats. I was very pleased. I had registered for a trip back to the airport, the shuttle was prompt, and dropped me off right where I needed to be. While I wasn't supposed to stay in Germany during this trip, this hotel was very welcoming and I'd definitely go back if ever stranded in Deutschland again.

    Lat night arrival. No more food or drinks around, just a can dispenser which takes cash only...Room was clean but somehow had a very high humidity level, the sheets felt almost wet. Very strange. Sound isolation is good with the highway. Despite the fact that it has "Airport" in its name the hotel is at 12km from the Airport.

    Great hotel with wonderful staff. We had two rooms and we were very please with our stay. They went above and beyond when we later discovered that our daughter had left a sweater in her room. Shayda at the front desk helped me with getting it shipped to us back in the US. Great staff!!

    Disappointing Stay Despite the IHG® Clean Promise

    We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and were shocked by the lack of cleanliness in the room. The sofa was heavily stained and the table had visible dirt and greasy marks (see photos). It was simply disgusting. We immediately asked for a new room because it was not acceptable to stay in such conditions — especially under the IHG® Clean Promise, which claims to deliver a clean, well-maintained environment.Overall, this was a very disappointing stay — definitely our last at this hotel.
