  Good business overnight facility just not for bicyclists

  Reception was pleasant . Room #303 was spacious, clean and with several windows . Bathroom very clean with good shower . Bed comfortable. No on-site restaurant open and closest dining facility was almost 0.5miles away which is not overly convenient when on bicycles . Minimal choices of “bar-food” pizza available on site plus you can order in . Breakfast was very good with multiple hot and cold food choices .This hotel has no accommodation for bike storage with no secure storage available . This definitely is a business person’s overnight accommodation and not very good for bike riders .   Nice hotel for business stay. Restaurant is great too. Check in and check out was smooth. One of the most cleanest Holiday Inn I ever stayed in.The only improvement if they could do would be WiFi as it keeps dropping.I would stay here again for business.   Jordan at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He help me get the baby bed and help me with any request I had during my stay.The room is nice and clean and the buffet is very good, but the waiter Robin is amazing.Definitely I’d come back.   We stayed at the Holiday Inn Neu Isenburg for 2 nights. It's an older property that has recently been refurbished. The rooms were clean and the beds were really comforatble, we enjoyed a good night's rest. IHG Platinum Elite membership was recognised on check-in when we were greeted by Mr Jonas. One of our 3 rooms had been upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. There was a slight issue with the other 2 rooms which had been allocated as double beds instead of twin beds however the response from Mr Jonas was really excellent as he also upgraded the other 2 rooms to suites also (the hotel was at near full capacity). The service was excellent.   Cockroaches in our room and in hotel halway

  This hotel is infested with cockroachesDefinitely do not waste your money on this hotel.I pre-booked and paid for rooms weeks ago as we are on vacation from Canada.We were here from Aug 3-5 2024. There was no hot water, we had ice cold showers for two days. When we used the sink, all of the water poured out from under the mini fridge flooding the carpet. When I complained to the hotel staff I was told sorry, we don't have a maintenance man to fix that either. We were not offered a different room.Tonight when we arrived at 1:30 AM after traveling 10 hours by train from Italy. On the way to our room we saw two different cockroaches in the staircase to the first floor. Shortly after arriving in our room we saw another cockroach on the curtains even tho all of the lights were on on the room. Of course flying insects can enter the hotel, when windows and doors are open. I can assure you, you did not see cockroaches in the hotel.Since we have the forrest and a lot of green arround the hotel, you did see a bug, that belongs to the family of roaches, but is not the "dirty" kind. For a few years you can find the Amber forest cockroaches (Ectobius vittiventris) in Germany. It migrated from the mediteranian sea, since the weather is much nicer in Germany now too. They look similar, since they belong to the same family, I totally understand your shock, when you found them but the Amber forest cockroache is harmless.For your information I copy the Facts from a webseite for you, so if you are interested you can also check there.From July onwards they were suddenly everywhere: at the organic waste bin, on the terrace, in the garden, in the apartment... Amber forest cockroaches (Ectobius vittiventris) may have caused panicked tidying and cleaning operations in many households last summer. The dry, hot weather was ideal for the new residents who originally lived in the Mediterranean region. At first glance, they are easy to confuse with German cockroaches, which are rightly feared as pests, and that doesn't necessarily make the light brown animals, which are about a centimeter long and have long antennae, particularly popular. But there is no place to panic in this case, because amber cockroaches are annoying but harmless. They prefer to nibble on dead parts of plants, of which there is an abundance in the garden. They usually stay well hidden during the day.If they are disturbed in their hiding place under organic waste bins, flower pots or stones, they quickly run for the nearest cover. At night they become active and search for food. Attracted by the light, they then get lost in human habitations, be it on foot or by flying.
