  I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it.Firstly, the information provided online is misleading or incomplete. The hotel does not offer many basic amenities you would normally expect: no minibar, no slippers, no bathrobes, no body lotion, no coffee or tea facilities, and not even a phone in the room. These are essential details that should be clearly stated before booking.When I asked at reception about basic items, I was told they are not available because this is a “business hotel,” which I found dismissive and unprofessional. I have stayed in over 200 hotels, and as an IHG One Rewards member, I am very familiar with hotel standards—this explanation is not something I have encountered before.Due to this misinformation, I had to go out and purchase basic necessities such as a toothbrush and toothpaste myself, which is unacceptable.Another issue worth mentioning is the pricing: I was charged €5 for a can of Fanta, which is excessive, especially considering there is no minibar and none of the usual in-room conveniences.The most serious problem, however, was the complete lack of respect for privacy. I was granted a late check-out until 14:00 and clearly communicated that I did not want to be disturbed, including placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. Since there is no phone in the room, I even went downstairs to inform reception personally.Despite this, at 12:30, someone knocked and then entered my room without permission, waking me up for the second time. This is a serious breach of privacy and completely unacceptable.Because of this, I checked out early at 12:45, extremely frustrated. When I reported the issue, I was told the staff member was new, but she was not alone at reception and could have asked for help instead of giving incorrect and unjustified information.Although the hotel later apologize, this does not make up for the overall poor experience. I will not return.   Good Hotel, But Very Bad Location

  Not Recommended for FamiliesWe stayed one night on the 7th of March. The hotel itself is relatively nice, but the location is quite unsettling. There are hundreds of drug addicts just outside the hotel, and it feels very uncomfortable to walk around even in the afternoon. This area is considered one of the most notorious streets near Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof.The staff did their best to serve us and were helpful whenever we needed assistance.   I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my business trip. The room was clean, well maintained, and provided a quiet and comfortable environment.The staff were professional, attentive, and friendly. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for business travelers who value cleanliness, comfort, and quality service.

  Let’s start with the hotel. Nice, clean, spacious and quiet. We were in room 616 which is an upgraded room so I cannot complain about what we had. Disappointing that there is no bar and breakfast is very expensive for what it is but that’s not criticism, that’s just an observation. The staff were lovely and friendly so all in all it was not bad. However, let’s look at the area. This is a very different issue and had we known what we would immersed in then we certainly would not have booked this hotel or any hotel in that area. This area is swarming with junkies and prostitution is rife. There is open drug use from heroin and crack visible, prostitution is everywhere and there are drug users passed out everywhere - it reminded me of a zombie movie. The police are there but they just keep an eye on them - this is clearly their area and whilst they did not bother us I would not want anyone to see what we saw without warning. All around these streets are the same sites. We are well traveled and have see all of the above in many counties but not the sheer number and concentration in one area. If you have kids, don’t go to this area. If you are offended by the stench of vomit and urine then stay away. If you are a solo traveler then think twice. If you are looking for a nice area to walk around then it is most certainly not this area. If I could rate this area lower than 0 I absolutely would. It is so bad that our next two Germany trips were to Frankfurt and we have already changed the simply because of what we saw in this area. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the area and IHG should swarm people.
