    Decent hotel close to US embassy

    Rooms and breakfast are fine, and the staff was friendly. We booked directly through the Hotel’s website, which gave us a very affordable and cheapest price compared to Booking, Expedia & co for the 3 bed room that we had.There’s free parking along most of the streets surrounding the hotel, and if you have an early appointment at the US Embassy, you can’t beat this hotel’s proximity to it.

    The room was small, but clean and comfortable, and the location was good for the necessary trip to the US consulate. The breakfast was edible, but the coffee pretty bad. So why only one star? When booking the room, my wife made a mistake with the date, but realized it immediately and tried to cancel. The online booking.com system wouldn't allow the cancellation, and after calling both booking.com and the hotel, they would only cancel the erroneous reservation if we rebooked for the correct date. However, the new booking was twice the price! OK. Different date, different price. I get it. But once we got there, we checked online and saw that rooms were still available for even less than our original booking. The hotel management refused to make any concessions. If we had been able to get our room for the advertised 89 Euro, or even the 125 Euros for the original booking, I would be giving 4 or 5 stars. But the 245 that we ended up paying was absolutely ridiculous for a tiny room far from the heart of Frankfurt. We will never stay there again, and we will never use booking.com again.

    I stayed for two nights in this newly renovated hotel. It offers a great value for the price. The rooms are functinal and modern. The whole property was very clean. The friendly staff and the breakfast added to the positive experience.
