This is a very basic hotel. There was no one at the reception when i got there so had to wait for a while to check in. But the receptionist was friendly. The room was clean, wifi was fast but the breakfast was average .I paid 45 Euros per night so it was okay for budget friendly traveler.

    Awful value for money ratio

The Eschborner Hof is a very basic hotel. Good points first: the rooms are clean, wifi is fast and stable, the receptionist was very friendly. There are no more positive points. The rooms are spartanically furnished: a bed, 2 chairs, a table and a small bathroom with not even a plastic goblet. The walls are paperthin. I had to pay 117€ for this room which is not worth more than 35-40€ Will certainly never go back

    Suited us fine.

I was very apprehensive after reading the reviews on here. But was pleasantly surprised to find our room on first floor nice size room with balcony, I think the ensuing was modernised recently and was fresh and clean with a good shower! Unlike some showers! The towels were set out nicely with complimentary soap and shampoo. There was ample storage and a tv. I managed to book for €49 which wasn't too bad. A kettle in the room would have been a nice but not the end of the world. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.

    I am glad I survived

This is a 0 star hotel, the room was tiny, the mattress was 100 years old, every time I turned a puff of old cigarette smoke came out of it. The room was always filled with people smoking in the corridors, breakfast below average. I cant believe they charged my company 130 Euros a night for this hell hole. Its also in the middle of an industrial estate, so you will need a taxi to get anywhere.

    Not that good ...

    rating18 Apr 2015

This "3" Stars hotel is not bad, but too expensive for what it provides. Beds are too soft, my back hurts a lot ... the staff isn't very polite... I stayed 4 nights. They cleaned my room only after the first night...I'm really used to German hotels, and especially 3 and 4 stars Hotels. But this one deserves maximum 2 stars. There's nothing in the room like a coffee machine, tea, and very limited bathroom supplies ... Good point : the free and good working Wi-Fi, the balcony and it was very quiet. But I'm not sure I will recommend and come back.
