  Stayed in elvis room

  My partner and I booked the elvis room for 1 night. Amazing. It was like stepping back in time. Loved every minute of our stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Attentive to every need. Beautiful dining area. Parking in grounds. Probably one of the best elvis experiences we’ve had, from Tupelo to Graceland. Even the honeymoon house in Palm Springs. Just a fantastic experience that had us all shook up. Bad Nauheim is a beautiful town to stay in too. Thank you to the staff on all levels for a wonderful stay.

  Elvis room stay

  We feel honoured to have had the privilege to have stayed in the original Elvis room. It was a very special experience a feeling of stepping back in time in a beautiful hotel. (There is room for improvement which I will go on to explain.)The room itself is large with an en-suite and balcony overlooking the park. And was exceptionally clean. There is a sense of old fashioned grandeur about the room which we loved and used our time on an evening sipping champagne and listening to Elvis music (Elvis made in Germany the complete home recordings) of which he recorded there. A perfect special occasion. There were things I feel could be improved on. I did not like the harribo sweets on the pillows. I felt it brought the tone down and didn’t fit with the era and elegance of the room. Chocolates would have been more suitable and in keeping, or do without.I also thought the modern plastic containers for body wash stuck on the bathroom tiles again did not fit with the era, perhaps a small soap bar would be more fitting.These are minor personal preferences, however there are elements of the room that are overlooked, the hem on a curtain was torn this needs to be fixed to preserve the original features. There was also only one bedside lamp, which is inconvenient for a double room, in the photo’s there are two, so one had not been replaced. The balcony chairs were not in keeping with the age of the room and the balcony would benefit from an outdoor light as from dusk it was dark.It seams that when items are getting replaced, they are not always (as near as possible) keeping to the era of the time.Although the hotel offers a bistro this closes at 7pm and all the chairs on the outside patio are chained up, this leaves no where to sit and enjoy an evening drink other than your room. There is no tea and coffee facilities even though this room is more expensive than other rooms in the hotel that are provided with the facilities. I understand management may be wanting to keep the room as original as it was but then provide free coffee/tea on request for guests in the Elvis room. We appreciate the management maintaining this room as original but more effort is required in preservation of the room otherwise fixtures and fittings will depreciate.

  What a find. Super-comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly management and staff. It may be only a small hotell but the welcome is BIG and it is in a superb quiet position overlooking the park yet close to the town centre shops, sights, bars and restaurants.

  Excellent staff. Very polite and efficient. Superb location within walking distance of all sights, shops and restaurants of the charming historic spa town of Bad Nauheim. Anyone who says differently has mental issues.

  This hotel is a nightmare! The room smelled like mold. The sheets were dirty, and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. The carpet in the room was stained, and the shower had no hot water. When we raised these issues both the receptionist and the manager were incredibly rude and told us to just accept it. The check-out process took forever, the manager was playing on his phone avoiding all eye contact while the receptionist struggled for half an hour to correct the bill because they even tried to charge us for extras we never requested. One of the worst hotels I ever had the misfortune to experience.
