Location

The distance from the hotel to the city centre and the main railway station is 13 km and it is 12 km to the fair and exhibition centre. The hotel is located on the south side of Frankfurt Airport, with direct access to the A5 motorway, Frankfurt-Basel (exit ‘CargoCity Süd’).

Facility

358 rooms, including 22 single rooms and 288 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and include a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested.     Good and advisable stay close to Frankfurt airport

    A perfect location for my short stay close to the airport. And it's really close, maybe 4 minutes by car! Excellent shuttle bus service, comfortable room, good restaurant, welcoming staff. I will certainly take it into consideration next time. I have only a couple of tips: acoustic insulation could be better, Frankfurt is a busy airport at all times and the noise is relevant. Secondly, the blackout courtains are definitely inadequate. Probably other people don't care, but I need pitch black to sleep and found myself fully awake a 5 a.m......

    definetely not a 4-star experience... lower your expections to a 2 star experience, then hopefully you won't become angry or thrustrated. I found the majority of staff unhelpful and unwelcoming. the 'hot' evevning meal was COLD, the 'hot' breakfast was COLD, I didn't eat in hotel after this (two night stay). My room was not tidied or visited by housekeping staff. I requested a toilet roll didnt get it, had to collect myself the following day. I put towels on the shower floor, but not replaced. requested clean towels and bin to be emptied. returned to find clean towels, but used towels still lying in shower and bin not emptied. Bar not open until 5pm (doesn't serve coffee), I had to wait until 6pm for the restaurant to re-opened to get a coffee. 360 rooms, but very small bar with just one barman. The restaurant was like a canteen, the coffee machines were turned off after breakfast ( no hot drinks included in Lunch or evening buffet) so coffee had to be collected and paid at a separate counter. It was a challenge to stay upbeat for my two night stay.     ★★★★☆ Excellent Service and Comfort — Minor Winter DrawbackMy stay at IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport was overall very positive and comfortable, especially for an airport hotel.The staff were truly outstanding — welcoming, efficient, and genuinely kind. Check-in and check-out were smooth, questions were handled with patience, and there was a real sense of professionalism paired with warmth. After a long journey, that kind of human factor matters a lot, and they absolutely delivered.The room itself was well equipped and thoughtfully arranged. I especially appreciated having tea and coffee in the room, which is always a small but important comfort, particularly when arriving late or leaving early. Everything was clean, functional, and well maintained, exactly what you want near an airport.The only downside was that the room felt noticeably cold during my stay in January. While everything else worked perfectly, the temperature made it slightly less comfortable than expected.That said, aside from the winter temperature issue, everything else was excellent — service, amenities, cleanliness, and overall efficiency. IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport is a very solid choice, and with warmer room temperature control, it would easily be a five-star airport stay.
