Location

This modern hotel enjoys a fantastic location in the middle of the urban forest, close to the commercial and cultural centre of Frankfurt am Main. From here visitors can explore the many sights of the city, as well as its numerous museums, Goethe's birthplace, the "Alte Oper" opera house and the famous palm gardens with their exotic plants. There is a link to the public transport system just around 1 km away. The nearest motorways and the airport (approximately 13 km away) are easy to reach from the hotel.

276 rooms and 3 suites are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 6 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     The location of the hotel is great, but that's just about it. Very average and a bit worn out hotel (even though clean). The food (both dinner and breakfast) lack finesse. The gym is subpar and so is the sauna unfortunately. For a quick stay it's okay'ish, but don't expect too much of it.

    The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because it was part of a Costsaver tour (Costsaver is a subsidiary of Trafalgar), otherwise I would never have chosen it. This place needs serious upgrading. The carpet was worn and dinghy, and the room I was given was very small - the size of a cruise ship stateroom. At least in the bathroom there were separate canisters for body wash and for shampoo, and tissue. It also had a closet for your clothes, a fridge, and complementary bottled water in the room. The breakfast was good too and had a wide selection.Would I recommend this hotel? I'm leaning towards no, but because of the breakfast I would say if you don't mind the dinghy carpet and the small room and you want to save money, then this may be the hotel for you. I personally would not choose this though.     I just had a telephone conversation with the reception staff member there regarding my mother in laws arrival.She's 80 and only speaks Portuguese.I simply wanted to ask that she be helped into the hotel on arrival.Then to be alerted when her taxi arrives tomorrow. If not she will most probably miss her flight. She suffers from memory loss also. This rude B*stard told me he's very busy, on his own with 150 rooms. And hung up. Rude unhelpful piece of >. After consulting with the colleague, we were assured that every time you called, you were informed that your mother-in-law was fine and our staff made sure that the lady arrived at the hotel, was taken to her room, woken up the next day, picked up for breakfast and later put in the cab to the airport. I think it is a pity that you insult our staff in this way with expressions, because besides his work with the other guests, he permanently took care of your mother-in-law and always gave you information by phone at any time.     This hotel is not what it appears to be in the pictures. The rooms are terrible, with no air conditioning. The staff are extremely rude & extremely difficult to deal with. The first room I was put in there was a dog barking in the room next to me, the next room had no curtains or air conditioning, the 3rd was extremely warm & the air conditioning did not work. I opened the window and there was no screen... I was with a tlur group so I had to stay at this hotel two night. The above was my experience on the last night, the first night was terrible as well, had to be moved to another room because of no air conditioning. The receptionist was rude, I asked for a fan & they didn't have any... it was over 30 degrees in the room...     Breakfast was good and enough choices for kids and the bed also was good but the airco can be better specially since we come in the summer day. and the cleanliness should be better. Good for transit place but not for a long stay.
