    Avoid if possible

    When travelling to Offenbach I stayed in this hotel for three nights. My room was not enjoyable, bedding was obsolete and no real amenities nor breakfast opportunities.What shocked me was to pay 120€ per night, not due to the high standing if the hotel but to the fact there was a Messe in Frankfurt and therefore a "business" reason to increase price. The discrepancy between price and delivered value made me really angry. Will not go to this hotel again even though it is 65€ off-Messe

    STILL A GREAT PLACE!

    This is our second time at Mainbogen Hotel and this is still a great place! Basic hotel with good staff and the breakfast is AWESOME! The croissant here is one of the best I ate in my whole life! The Hotel is quite, friendly place! Good for any type of people! I just recommend it!

    The entire hotel is a bit outdated. No airconditioning in the rooms. On our first stay we at least had a fan an a fridge in the room. On the second stay we didn't. With outside temperatures of 36°C to 37°C is was very hot an uncomfortable in the rooms and hallways.The beds and bathroom were clean.Breakfast was very basic, not everything seemed fresh to us.Plus was, that it wasn't too far of the highway. And it was close to the boulevard at the Main, which was nice for a walk.

    GREAT for long walks along the Main River

    From the outside, the hotel looks old, and we wondered what we were getting into. Once we were nside, we were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice hotel, clean, safe, comfortable, fabulous staff, It is not anywhere near the airport, but we were not looking for a hotel near the airport. Located half a block from the River Main, we discovered that there is a great promenade all along the river. People stroll, walk their dogs, run, ride their bikes, You can watch ducks, people rowing, excursions boats, really relaxing and just fun. Further up the river we found - while strolling - a great greek-armenian restaurant where we had lunch twice.

    To be frank, no pun intended. You get what you pay for. I paid less than half the price to stay here as I would have done if I’d elected to stay at a hotel within Frankfurt. For the price it’s very good. Warm at night, slightly loud guests but I can’t fault the hotel for that. Staff easy to talk with and the option of breakfast if you like.
