  Hotel is ok when you mainly need a clean place to sleep and a breakfast, which btw also is ok. The main drawback is the location which is heavily affected by drugs and the red light distrikt. This was my review but tripadviser says that I have to write at last 200 letters, so that's the reason for this sentence.

  Concerns About Management Practices Across MK Hotels

  Our company has worked with MK Hotels for several years, booking group stays at various locations. Unfortunately, significant issues at the MK Hotel London raised concerns about the brand’s consistency and management practices, which may affect other properties, including Frankfurt.At the London property, a booking error disrupted a group stay in July worth over £20,000. Mr. Jiri Rigan, who handled the booking, admitted fault but did not offer compensation or a meaningful resolution. When we escalated the issue to Mr. Arno Sonderfeld, our concerns were initially dismissed, and only after legal intervention was an alternative arrangement secured. However, the alternative accommodation did not meet the agreed standards. Future attempts to book were met with a 100% price increase and strict non-refundable cancellation terms—drastically different from our prior agreements.After posting feedback about this experience, MK Hotel Frankfurt invited us to engage with them. However, instead of addressing our concerns, their response focused on requesting that we remove our feedback, citing operational separation between locations. While we understand the division of responsibilities, this approach further underscored our concerns about transparency and accountability within the MK Hotels brand.Given the size and importance of MK Hotel Frankfurt within the group, potential guests and group bookers should carefully evaluate whether service and communication across the brand align with their expectations. Our experience suggests that these issues may not be isolated to one location, and we encourage caution when booking with MK Hotels.

  the hotel is in a good location, near the station. The rooms are decent. But my issue was when I lost my room key on the second night at about midnight. Weirdly for a hotel this size, the reception shuts at 11pm. I rang a telephone number and I really struggled to speak to the woman on the other end as the reception was bad. And then, the line was permanently engaged or 10 minutes. Eventually, I got the message across and my room was opened remotely but at one point I thought I would struggle to get to my room. I do think a hotel of this size - when it was full during the Euros - should have round-the-clock hotel porter

  Non-working self check in, rude & unhelpful receptionist

  The idea of self check-in fine - when it works. Calling the reception also didn't do much as the receptionist was rude and unhelpful - was advised to try again, check in on link in confirmation email (no such link) and try call Booking (who? what number?). It worked in the end but I (and other guests) waited around one hour to check in and enter our rooms.

  great stay for a solo traveler - area not recommended for families

  The rooms are quite new , the hotel is well maintained. Evan that we arrived late , there is a machine outside (looks like an ATM) where one can make an automatic check-in ( using a credit card)....just near the hotel is a restaurant that stays open well into the end of the night which is very handy given that most other frankfurt restaurants closes around 22:00.The street of the hotel itself is a main street with many restaurants and is ok , but avoid going to neighboring streets and blocks and these are filled with junkies , drunk and homeless
