  Stayed here before and loved the location across from Skyline mall. However, with the closure of the hotel on 15 February, I recognized just how guest unfriendly they are. They cancelled the last day of my stay because of the closure and didn’t bother to help find other Accor accommodations. At a stay I had at a different Accor hotel, they had elevator problems, so they booked me in a sister hotel at the same rate. When Mövenpick cancelled my reservation, I had to search for another hotel that was slightly more expensive and a lower quality because they didn’t provide much notice of the cancelled stay.For the end of my stay, I asked for and was given a late checkout of an additional hour (13:00 instead of 12:00). I didn’t want to be wandering around for 3 hours between checkout time and check-in at the new hotel, especially on a Sunday when everything was closed.Right before noon, the official checkout time, I get a knock at the door that I had to leave and would not be given a late checkout. Their attitude was “who cares about you the guest. Find and pay more for your new room and who cares that you have to wander around for 3 hours before you can check into your new hotel.”

  The smokers weren’t accepted

  Although as a hotel it was really nice it lacked something really important . Any space for smokers . I understand the policy of no smoking inside the room and inside spaces in general but they should at least have a balcony or the windows should open fully in order to be able to smoke . It is unreal to be forced to go down and outside the hotel in such weather conditions especially . Someone who smokes constantly cannot enjoy the stay cause something that is a part of their everyday routine is not acceptable at all. Something like that in Europe shouldn’t have been a problem . Really disappointing honestly cause you feel like you’re being judged for your own choices . Such a shame for a good hotel in general

  nice clean hotel with very friendly staff

  Lovely couple of days in Frankfurt with my daughter, thank you to especially Alejandra for the welcome and the rest of the team for looking after us . . . please get the lifts mended . . . other than that it's a good place to stay, it's opposite a Galleria for shopping and food, 15-20 minute walk to the train station, 30 mins or so from the airport and a 15 euro taxi ride into the central area where the shops and Christmas markets are.   Spacious rooms, terrible restaurant

  I stayed for three nights in late July.Check in was indifferent by unmotivated brunette young man. I booked superior king room and was hoping for upgrade to junior suite as hotel was virtually empty and I am gold member. Apart from Chinese tourists and Singapore cabin crew there was nobody else there. To no avail. He just would not even bother. Upon learning my room allocation was on 2nd floor I insisted he moves me to top floor which he reluctantly did. It felt I was the only person on that floor, I never met anyone else on the corridors. Why not ensure you give guests maximum experience if you can as hotel is far from full occupancy? My room rate included complimentary mini bar but upon floor change I had to chase it as it was empty. They also brought gold member welcome snack which was nice. They provide complimentary water.Hotel has lovely outdoor terrace on 7th floor (no food or drink service).Location of hotel is good for ride to the airport by uber (15 min), train station (15 min walk) but not for anything else. If you like to walk like me, it will take you 30 min to reach any sights. Otherwise you can take Messe U Bahn. Upon arrival I took the train from the airport to the Main Station (Hbh). 10 min journey costed 19.50 Euro which was steep. Then you walk through really doggy area of central station, I really don’t recommend it. You also need to pass this area to go to the centre, not ideal for solo woman traveller I was in Frankfurt. I did not hesitate to book uber on the way back at merely 10 Euros more (30 Euros total). Room did not feel much of four star but was clean, practical and really spacious with sofa. Windows open fully, it is four of them and it is quiet at night. I had bath/ shower combination with good water pressure. I did not like sqeezy wall mounted toiletries. I don’t find it hygenic to sqeeze these bottles…For this room category hotel provides sleepers but not bathrobe. I chased it to no avail. Sorry for second most expensive room type they need to fix it in four star hotel. Quality of towels is Holiday Inn.I ordered rosti in the restaurant once as it is a Swiss chain. It was expensive, terrible and had nothing to do with this dish. There is a reason why this restaurant is constantly empty.Overall I would stay again for quality of sleep snd spacious room. The value in July was also good compared with other European cities.
