    Not as expected from other Moxy Hotels

    We have stayed at Moxy’s in many locations, Guadalajara, Costa Rica, even Tokyo that had larger hotel rooms than this one. This Moxy has very basic and small rooms. Only one person can fit in the bathroom as there is less than two feet of floor space to stand on. The shower is large enough and there is counter space, but the toilet, sink and shower take up the whole room. The bedroom is no better. Side tables and the “desk” are short glass shelves. There is a chair. But only one space to put a luggage rack, the other suitcase had to go on the chair. I was told at check in all the rooms are the same size, but this is not true, they do have a “family room” I was not not told about and could have upgraded to if I had known it existed. The downstairs lobby/check in counter/breakfast room/bar is a large space and functions as a multitasking island. Although listed as at the airport it is not and does not provide transportation to the airport either. You must catch a cab, rideshare or take the train, which is a bit of a walk to get to. It was clean, they were polite, and it served the purpose, but I felt was a bit deceiving.

    Never again - awful from start to finish. Arrived after a long day and had to wait an age to be checked in. Took the lift to the first floor where room was located and the entire corridor smelt of fried food. Room adequate and clean, shower excellent. Went down to order some food as no room service available and the offering was limited to fried and high fat resembling a fast food chain rather than a hotel. No option other than to make do with a bottle of water. Bed uncomfortable, way too soft and springs poking through the mattress. Pillows cheap foam - not comfortable at all. Noise of children from room next door or above. Air con not controllable so very cold meaning poor sleep. Breakfast the next morning was okay, though having to wait behind a family of four trying to decide what to end thier children on was frustrating. Staff overall pleasant but clearly disinterested.     You know what you’re getting with Moxy and this was as per others. Nice staff, decent rooms and a good night sleep. No complaints here !!

    This hotel is awesome-fun, clean, close to restaurants and a store, great breakfast, welcoming employees. I can’t imagine anyone traveling needing anything this place doesn’t offer

    Super basic and not as close to the airport as I first thought

    I don't have too much to say about the Moxy as there really isn't much there at all. Super basic rooms, tiny bathrooms you can barely fart in, breakfast is decent but spartan. I'd say the cleanliness might have been the only standout. The biggest disappointment is the proximity to Frankfurt airport. It's a 15 minute taxi ride - due to a plethora of vicious U-turns and freeway on and off ramps between where you are and where you wish you were. Next time I'll try the "on-campus" Marriott or Sheraton.
