  Fun well-located hotel

  Spent five nights here recently with a group of students. Overall a great experience. It's a Marriott, BTW, if that matters. The Good: Great location-close to the Zeil, Hauptwache U-Bahn station, Roemer Platz. Great lounge/bar with fun atmosphere. Bar is 24/7. Breakfast a bit more expansive than typical hotels of this class-in addition to bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, they also had beans, sausage, and scrambled and soft boiled eggs. Room was comfortable and a bit larger than some of my other German hotel experiences (although I wish there were shelves or more hangers for clothes). Three elevators, so the wait time was negligible. The Not So Great: Mostly the clothes storage situation. There was a luggage stand, but I still had to rummage through my suitcase as opposed to sorting through a couple shelves like a previous hotel (similar price point/style). Bar prices rather steep-9 Euro for a glass of Riesling, when you can get a bottle at the Rewe around the corner for 5. I understand markups, but that seemed bit excessive. Overall, a solid hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

  The Worst Experience Ever !!!Firstly this is my second time in Frankfurt and second time i stayed in Moxy among all the hotels. Since i love the Hotel. But tonight ( 9 /2/26 ) i was made to feel like a fool and stupid !After a loong busy day ive asked the women at reception for a tooth brush, shaving blade and slippers.She looked into my eyes in a humiliating way and said you can BUY IT at backside we dont have !!Ive taked slippers and tooth brush at day 1 but 4 days passed so i need a new one !! She said i cant help you we never have toothbrush or slippers at Moxy hotels ! You are mistaking us with someone else !!! Like comeon im not stupid !!! JUST DONT MAKE ME LOOK STUPID !This is my last and never again here!!   Lovely hotel in the city centre. If you are not looking for luxury but rather convenience and a safe place, this is the hotel to go to. An absolute no nonsense, DIY hotel which is apt for shopping around, catching the next flight and staying in the city centre.

  Disappointing stay despite a great location

  Positive Aspect:- Destination: The location is undoubtedly beautiful and served as the only highlight of our visit. Disappointments:1. Atmosphere: The hotel had a hostel-like vibe, which was not what we anticipated.2. Room Amenities: The rooms were lacking essential amenities, such as a kettle and wardrobe, which made our stay less comfortable.3. Bedding Quality: The bedding was uncomfortable, impacting our ability to rest properly.4. Room Finishing: The overall finishing of the room felt untidy, as if there was a lack of attention to detail in the design and maintenance.5. Shower Condition: The shower plugs were blocked, leading to water pooling, which was quite unpleasant.6. Billing Issues: My partner encountered a frustrating billing issue, being charged over £200 upon returning to the UK, despite the stay being fully paid through Expedia.Overall, while the destination was appealing, the various shortcomings in the hotel experience left much to be desired. I hope this feedback helps improve the stay for future guests.
