Location

The hotel stands on the edge of Hanau's shopping district, a 10-minute walk from the city centre. It is a 15-minute walk from Hanau central station. Trains run directly to Frankfurt city centre and the airport. Drivers are just 30 minutes from Frankfurt Trade Fair. Frankfurt International Airport is about 30 km away from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 145 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Nightmare stay

    We had to teach a customer service workshop in Hanau and our customer put us up in this hotel. The best thing about this hotel: The staff is very nice and friendly!Otherwise it was a nightmare. They couldn't find our reservation although I had called three times leading up our stay, and still could not find it at check-in. I had the confirmation on my laptop. For the inconvenience they upgraded us to a junior suite where the heating was broken (we had to find more blankets and put on clothes throughout the night because reception was closed between 10 pm and 6 am), a loud buzzing noise all night made sure that we couldn't sleep and the bathroom was a freezer! The next morning they put us into a new room. Overall opinion: never again in spite of the nice staff.

    The room had the smell of stale smoke. The shower was rusty and the hand shower switch was broken. The rain shower head was broken and so leaked water over the wall, this made showering unpleasant. Receptionists were friendly as were the breakfast staff.

    We had chosen a room with a terrace and it was on the top floor with the much anticipated name Sleeping Beauty. However, the room was a disappointment in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. The room was very big, but the curtains were stained, lots of stains on the carpet, on the wardrobe, walls. The shower could also be cleaner and a rain shower should be a must in a 180 euro room. A tiny trickle of water came out of the showerhead and you had to crawl into the corner of the shower to get water all over you. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was fairly quiet, the room could also be darkened to block out the sunlight as it was hot outside in June. The terrace was large but there were a lot of weeds and the view of Hanau was not great either. The breakfast was quite extensive. There is a parking with parking spots in the open air for 10 euros per night.The website states that there would be wellness but this was not discussed at the reception and we also have no idea where it should be located in the hotel. At the entrance is an marquise, the bottom of which was removed, which also gave a sloppy and unkempt impression.

    Close to the city Center and Shopping Mall.Quick and easy Check-in and Check-out.Parking at the Hotel.Could be cleaner.Because of Corona there was no breakfast. The lunch paket they had instead was a little small.
