    Terrible shower water temperature

    The most serious and unacceptable issue was the unstable water temperature in the shower. While showering, the water would suddenly turn cold, causing significant discomfort, and then abruptly become very hot, almost resulting in burns.In addition, there were several minor issues, such as a bedside lamp with a tube that was nearly broken and a kettle with a bent spout.We also encountered a situation where the television was not functioning. Aside from informing guests via a notice at the front desk, the hotel should have provided appropriate compensation, such as complimentary snacks or drink vouchers.It was unexpected that a four-star hotel would have such unstable shower water temperature. Although the room offered a beautiful view and was generally clean, these are basic standards that most hotels can provide. The issue with the water temperature was therefore quite disappointing and has affected our willingness to stay here again in the future.

    Arrived late and short walk from Hauptbahnhof to hotel. Lovely room but highlights for us were spectacular breakfast and morning cycle (hotel bikes) along the riverside

    We travel a lot and it is rare that you book a room that ticks all boxes. Scandic Frankfurt Museumsufer did.If you carry a lot of luggage (like we did on a 6-week tour) most small rooms don't have the space to open them for easy access. Our room #1714 had an enormous bench under the TV which was perfect for all our gear.With timber floor and crisp white walls, the room looks modern and clean and has all amenities that you expect : very comfortable bed, lots of powerpoints, charging station and lights where you need them ; water, coffee making, fridge, safe. Large smart TV with 200+ stations (but I couldn't find the Netflix app). Similarly, the bathroom tiled floor-to-ceiling, generous hand + rainshower, the usual pump bottles ; compact but well laid out.Breakfast is in an enormous space and offers a good choice of quality ; there is also a focus on "bio and organic". We liked the self-juicer and waffle station.Overall, at just €150 per night, including breakfast, this hotel is great value for money. Their rooms are some of the best designed we ever experienced and should serve as example for others.
