Location

This exclusive luxury hotel is located in Frankfurt am Main, on the north side of the main train station with excellent access to public transport into the city centre. A selection of bars, shops and restaurants are situated within 500 m of the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 3 suites, 50 single rooms and 78 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services and facilities include medical assistance, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience.     For me, Metropolitan Hotel by Flemings Frankfurt is about as convenient as it gets when travelling by train — you’re out of the station and practically at the front door before you’ve had time to check Google Maps.As with many big-city main stations, the immediate surroundings have their own character — nothing the hotel controls, of course — but it’s all part of the trade-off for that level of convenience.Inside, it’s a different story altogether. Rooms are comfortably spacious and well suited to a work stay. In my room, there was a step up into the bathroom — not an issue once you know it’s there, but worth remembering on the first night.Breakfast does the job nicely, and I liked the seating areas — good for a coffee, a bit of laptop time, or simply not rushing straight out the door. The bar is a pleasant spot in the evening too. Just one small tip: a quick look at the price list beforehand avoids any surprises — Frankfurt city-centre logic applies.The soundproofing is excellent, which you definitely appreciate in this location. I didn’t stay in summer, so can’t say from experience, but I’d expect the air conditioning to take care of things.All in all, a very practical, comfortable base — and hard to beat if you’re arriving by train and want things simple.

    The hotel is certainly worth the stay , however as others have opined the entire area is full of homeless or drug addicts walking all along, though it may not be safe at night , day time it is perfectly ok.

    We had a wonderful stay at the Metropolitan Hotel by Flemings in Frankfurt, ideally located right next to the main station, super convenient! The hotel features a sleek, modern design with cozy rooms, a spacious bathroom complete with a bubble bath. A true highlight was the 7 Paintings Dinner – an unforgettable 7-course interactive show inspired by iconic artists. After a day exploring the city, we loved unwinding in the sauna and finishing the evening with drinks at the American Bar, which had such a warm and intimate vibe.Special thanks to Linh Nguyen, Lara, Georgios (for the amazing 7 Paintings Dinner), and Pierre at the bar for their amazing hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Frankfurt!

    What a classy place. The staff were all so helpful (even lending me a kettle), the rooms and the whole place is large and clean, with comfortable bed, furniture and a great set of lighting options. The breakfast is fresh with a daily smoothie as well as all the usual options. I enjoyed the cloth napkins and generosity with check out time (noon). There are a few rough streets nearby but otherwise the position literally across the road from the main train station is fabulous. Wifi all good. Dinner was affordable and you know you are in Europe when they serve you free bread with herbed cream cheese. Everything about here is calm, friendly and of a very high standard. Thank you for a lovely stay.
