    Plenty of reasons for defects in the hotel, the hotel urgently needs renovation

    Upon arrival, the reception was not staffed. When the employee came after a felt 15m, there was neither an apology nor a real welcome. The procedure of checking in then went quite quickly. Once in the room we have to realize that it has probably the best years behind it. Spotty carpet (who has carpet ??) old furniture, floor lamp did not work, bathroom partly moldy and neither air conditioning or minibar or refrigerator. overall, all this seemed very worn out. Breakfast (€10) was just minimum standard with TK meatballs and ready-made scrambled eggs from the pack, no ready-made freshly cut fruit for the cereal and yogurt and dirty dishes. Overall not worth 3 stars for the price.We will definitely book somewhere else soon. Originally submitted in German on www.tripadvisor.de. View originals.

    Needs Urgent Renovation – Disappointing Stay

    Unfortunately, my stay at the Trip Inn Kongress Hotel Rodgau was quite disappointing. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation – the rooms are outdated, the furniture is worn, and overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired.The service was mediocre at best, with staff that seemed indifferent rather than welcoming. While the breakfast was okay, it was nothing special and did not make up for the overall poor experience.Unless major improvements are made, I would not recommend staying here. There are certainly better options in the area.

    Stayed at this hotel as a stop over for one night and what a pleasant surprise after reading some reviews Very clean. Comfortable beds staff lovely good breakfast infact nothing bad to say at all ghauda behind the bar is a star. What a breathe of fresh air when you meet her. Would definitely go back

    A bad trip to the 90s

    We had stayed at this hotel 20 years ago and what was good then , has deteriorated. The room decor definitely hasn’t been updated . The carpet is stained and the hallway stinks of vomit. I can’t even begin to list everything that’s wrong with this hotel. The only positive was that the bedding was clean. The bed was very soft. Just a few examples. Peeling paint, terrible shower, stained carpet, ancient slightly unsavoury sofa in the room. The breakfast too was a throwback to the 90s. Dried up scrambled egg,stale bread rolls, cheap jam and a few bits of cold meat, curled at the edges , not a piece of fresh fruit in sight, coffee out a flask…The whole experience was unpleasant, we had stayed in a similar hotel on route for a slightly cheaper price and this was so much better on all levels!

    I was put up at this property by Lufthansa (shame on them). Th room I was given had no air conditioning and the door lock was broken allowing some drunk to walk into my room while I was trying to get a few hour sleep. The room was clean, BUT (1) the desk lamp was broken, the bathroom exhaust fan sounded like it was having it death knell and there was no bottle opener to open the bottled water providedThe there is the 'so called' restaurant. The atmosphere was non existent. The waitress mad it clear that one could only go the 'buffet' once. The only good thing about the buffet was the fresh lettuce and cucumber. There was a cooked vegetable serving that was tasteless and watery. There was a meat of some sort in a white sauce that was inedible. There was also some badly dehydrated sausage.Oh the hotel has only one English television station, no computers in the lobby and no power adapters to be loaned to guests.The only good thing about this place is leaving it.
