Nice hotel but keep you receipt at hand

I have stayed here a few times and always enjoyed my stay. It’s a well appointed hotel in a good location. The staff are generally friendly (the night porter is lovely!). The reason for only 4 stars was my experience at check out. I expected to just hand over my key but was told by the lady on reception that I owed nearly 500 euros. I told her I had already paid and she replied very tersely "no you haven't”. I explained again that I had paid Expedia when I booked. She spent a few minutes clicking away at her computer and then said "oh yes, you have paid" She could have done that before telling me I hadn’t paid. The hotel was very professional, clean and helpful. It was my first visit to Germany and loved my stay. The staff helped with my adventures after work!!! Awesome staff!!! The breakfast was delicious! They helped with language barrier too!

The hotel says they have "free" shuttle service from the airport. BUT they don't tell you it's on a public bus. I called twice and the desk clerk was unhelpful, so after an hour wait for a bus that I didn't know what I was going to take I told an expensive cab.The hotel (if you can call it a hotel) had no air conditioning inside the room and was very uncomfortable.

Very disappointed of this hotel : we booked for 2 people on booking.com but when we arrived at the reception, we’ve been told that the room has only been booked for 1 person (even if it was a double bed room) so we had to pay an extra fee.Furthermore, despite what was announced on booking.com and on the booking confirmation, there is no minibar in the rooms. The adequate furniture is there but not the minibar itself.There was also a strong smell of cigarette in the toilet, we needed to have the light on to have extraction on as well but did not work.There is no air conditioning so the room was quite warm. They provide you with a fan upon request but does not help a lot. Good notes : the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is ok for the price (but buffet not big at all).I will not go to this hotel again!

This hotel was easy to get to from the freeway . Parking was in the garage under the hotel.Upon arrival the staff greeted us by name when we walked in.Check in was a breeze and the lay out of the hotel is very simple.Breakfast needed to be ordered at check in and cost extra but is sure worth it.Our room was spotless and roomy.
