The room was large, spacious and clean.The bed was comfortable,The toilet and shower were clean.There is no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, but we asked for a kettle at reception and they brought it to us in a fairly short time, so we could make coffee in the morning.Overall, the hotel staff was fine.The breakfast was good and plentiful. The hotel does not have dinner!The hotel location is reasonable. There is a very large supermarket within a 2-minute walk, and next to it there is a cafe (called BLACK) and several other shops.Overall, the stay at the hotel was good and pleasant. I really can't find the justification for the price charged by the hotel, as neither its location or surroundings, nor facilities in place is something that would be its added value. The rooms are quite large and clean, but there is no tea/coffee set in the rooms - which means that if you fancy a hot beverage during the day, you must go to the dining area and then march all the way back with a cup in hand (it also means no refills unless you venture downstairs). The breakfast is decent, but nothing fancy - so if you stay for 2,3 nights it's ok, but for a longer stay it will be repetitive.

A modern hotel with very large rooms. I had a double room to myself so acres of space. Lovely bathroom with walk in shower. The room was well appointed as one would expect with safe, fridge and USB ports. Reception staff were courteous and helpful. There is a bar at reception with a small seating area. Underground car parking is available.Hotel is situated on the outskirts of Freiburg however the tram stop is only 5 minutes walk away and it is only a short journey into the city centre. For a city dweller like me the location is not an issue. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I rate 1 star beacouse 0 is impossible to put.... Worst hotel ever, no room service, incompetent receptionist at night no bar after 23:00. Booking perspective is not the same of what the hotel really offers, we were expecting a lot more.Only good point is the personal in the morning a very kind guy and a tattooed girl served us very good but for the rest we had a very bad experience.

A nice hotel but over priced. It was the most expensive of all the hotels we stayed in, we did a 9 week holiday through England, France, Belgium, Germany and Singapore and the hotel cost me the most. To add to it 200 euros was stolen from our room, when reported to management they were very apologetic and said we would be reimbursed. To your face they are very nice but all was idle promises. We have made several phone calls and sent emails but still no reply. I would not recommend staying here.
