    Good value for money

    rating09 Aug 2026

We stayed one night and even though is very close to the airport the environment was quite. It looks like the building is new but the sink in the bathroom was very tall and we couldn’t believe it. Nice breakfast and very clean. Soci Assist, Other at Holiday Inn Express Friedrichshafen By IHG, responded to this review Hi Ladychecca,Thanks for sharing your experience! It's great to hear you enjoyed the peaceful environment and our breakfast offerings. We appreciate your feedback about the bathroom sink and will take it into consideration. We hope to welcome you back for another stay soon.- The Staff at Holiday Inn Express Friedrichshafen

Great stay just outside Friedrichshafen airport

    rating07 Jun 2026

We booked this hotel due to its IHG banding, location near the Airport and the fact that the closer to town IHG's were booked solid. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful with advise on transportation, places to eat and things to do. Rooms are updated. They have an high above average HI Express breakfast. During the evenings they have a bar open with some limited bites and drinks. Rooms were updated and comfy. We used taxis back and forth from town.

Exactly what we needed for a very reasonable price

    rating03 Jan 2025

We arrived at Holiday Inn Express close to midnight with a dog, 2,5-year-old son, and us. You can imagine that we were tired and just wanted to settle in quickly and sleep. Not only were we able to do that rather effortlessly, already then our son was given some gifts and the receptionist gentlemen also offered us some welcoming gifts. We settled in, everything was clean, nice, etc. The next morning, the 'trend' continued, as we were treated very nicely by every staff member (also in the breakfast area), with our son again receiving a nice gift here and there. So all-in-all it was a very nice experience (5/5) - as for the location, anyway you likely don't go to a hotel like this if you want to explore downtown; the purpose of the hotel is different. Special mention goes to the buffet/breakfast area having a small kids' play area - smart!

    Very pleasant stay.

Short stay. Lovely and friendly staff. We leave early in the morning and we could make our own lunch or they make one for you. We decided to make it our own on three day of departure and we also could already have some coffee and continental breakfast. Love rooms and comfortable beds.

    Nice hotel for stopover

    rating13 Apr 2024

Stayed during a stopover off the road and it was perfect for a night. Location is good and you're close to town as well. Staff were polite, breakfast was good, and rooms were clean and well kept. Parking onsite available as well for a fee. Easy to get back on the road from here or head to the airport.
