This hotel enjoys and idyllic location right by the beautiful Riessersee, surrounded by a unique mountain range of the Alps and the Zugspitze. The location offers excellent winters sports opportunities, as well as various shopping and entertainment venues. The pretty centre of Garmisch Partenkirchen is about 2 km away. The nearest ski lift as well as the pistes, which have an attitude of up to 3,000 m and cross-country trail are around 100 m away from the hotel. In addition, guests will also find plenty of excellent hiking paths surrounding the hotel. The hotel's bus service runs twice a day to the centre of Garmisch Partenkirchen, as well as the main train station.

155 rooms and 53 suites are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere.     A Beautiful Alpine Escape Worth Every Moment

    This hotel is absolutely beautiful, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Bavarian Alps. A peaceful lake sits directly behind the hotel, and the property also offers a lovely pool, excellent spa services, relaxing saunas, beautiful rooms, and wonderful hospitality.The breakfasts were delicious, and we also thoroughly enjoyed the half-board dinners. The food, service, and attention we received throughout our stay were excellent. We felt very well cared for from the moment we arrived.This is a perfect place to stay if you want to escape from the busyness of everyday life while still being in a wonderful location for hiking, mountain excursions, and visiting the nearby cable cars. The scenery is spectacular, and the peaceful surroundings make it easy to relax and recharge.The hotel is approximately a 45-minute walk from town, although the taxi ride is only about eight minutes. It is helpful to bring some cash and pick up anything you may need before arriving, particularly if you plan to spend most of your time relaxing at the hotel. You can also walk, rent bicycles, or take a taxi into town.This hotel is completely worth the stay. It is a beautiful place to escape the world for a while, with great food, exceptional service, wonderful rooms, and unforgettable Alpine views.     We have come to the hotel for the past 2 years and plan to come again next year. We had the Seehaus with the lake view and it was spectacular. The staff are always friendly and accommodating towards us as guests. The breakfasts are fantastic. The restaurant at the Seehaus is also really lovely.     The location and staff really make this hotel worth the stay. Every staff member went out of their way to be friendly or helpful. While the room could have used some upgrading, my overall experience was very pleasant and I would certainly recommend this hotel.
