  We stayed five nights and used nearby grocery and bakery for breakfast provisions so we could have what we wanted. Good soundproofing when windows are closed. One big demerit that really makes this a 4.5: the AC is minimally effective. We stayed mid-September and the AC had high, med, low levels, but the fan at high speed was below low throughput anywhere else. You could open windows if you needed to, but then you take your chance with bugs and noise. We were OK because we hit a cool, sometimes rainy week, but I don’t know if I’d stay if temps were high (though maybe it never gets hot there?). We found it a good central location to visit the areas we were interested in. Having checked other central accommodations, this seemed the best value. Note they have a very small underground parking garage that you must reserve if you plan to have a car.   Well located, clean and comfortable with good sized rooms and functional kitchenette (inc dishwasher). Our room was by a busy road, but the soundproofing is good, so we didn’t have a problem with noise. Nice to have coffee/tea available in reception 24/7.The studio- sized apartment isn’t ideal if you are planning to eat in a lot - only one chair, and one comfy chair.   Nice hotel in Hamburg

  We visited Hamburg to see the Christmas markets and chose to stay here as was close enough to the centre of Hamburg.Nothing bad to say about this hotel. We never spent much time apart from sleeping. The rooms and hotel were overall clean. Would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to visit Hamburg.
