    Surprisingly strong choice

    I was a bit surprised how positive this experience was. First, unlike US airports where there are miles of 'dead zone' after the runways, this place is under a mile from the airport proper. Close as could be. Second, unlike most airport hotels (and most Marriott Courtyard hotels), this has a little bit of personality. Some artwork hanging. A bar and restaurant. A little bit of lighting.Third, our room was large and the bed comfortable. The bathroom large enough. The staff was quite courteous and helpful. I would return.

    A modern, comfortable and quiet airport hotel

    I spent one night at Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg Airport on a business trip to Germany 🇩🇪 and I liked the experience. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport terminal. The shuttle transfer does not take more than five minutes but information on the shuttle stop in the terminal are not very good. Despite being close to the airport the hotel area is very quiet. I couldn't hear any take-off or landing noise during my stay. The hotel architecture - a two-floor white-walled building - integrates quite well in the neighbourhood. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. It was very easy to connect to the wi-fi and the connection was very good. Although not very spacious my room was functional and very clean. Modern furniture combined well with the light-coloured laminated wood floor. The bed was very comfortable. The iron and the ironing table were a nice feature, but the basic electric kettle should be replaced by a Nespresso coffee machine. Although also relatively small the bathroom was modern and well-equipped with a hair dryer and soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The breakfast was good overall but fresh fruit juice would be a plus. I have no hesitation to recommend Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg Airport for a short stay in the city.

    The suite room is pretty nice with a large seating area. Check in was very quick and professional. Very close to the airport and walkable to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

    I had booked this hotel to spend the Christmas holidays with my family, as we had a flight to Athens on December 26.Before our stay, I was contacted by phone by Gerrit, Executive Assistant Manager. He took great care to organize everything in advance so that our stay would go as smoothly as possible. And indeed, from the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were very warmly welcomed by the reception team.I would like to take this opportunity to thank several team members From the reception who were extremely efficient and, above all, very kind:Chriss front desk manager and his associates Finja,Hulya,Stéphanie,Rony,Muller.I would also like to thank Jens, the driver, who helped us enormously with our luggage and drove us to the airport.We really enjoyed the suites, which are very well equipped and extremely spacious. The housekeeping staff do a very meticulous and careful job.We also dined every evening at the restaurant, where we enjoyed excellent meals, including festive dinners for the Christmas season The service was outstanding, and I would especially like to mention Marlon, who is a very professional waiter and always smiling.The restaurant manager, Goran, is truly very friendly and always gave us a very warm welcome. A big thank you as well to Mostafa for his good mood and kindness, and Ani, Félix, Thomas, and Florian.I would also like to thank the B&B Manager Assistant, Elke, for organizing everything in advance and reserving all our dinner during our stay We also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Mr. Niels Drescher, who took the time to speak with us. He is very professional and, above all, extremely friendly.I will return without hesitation to this hotel every time I travel to Hamburg. Once again, a big thank you for a memorable stay.Perfect option if you want to be near the airport. Highly recommended

    The Courtyard Marriott at Hamburg Airport has truly become my second home whenever I visit my mom. The entire team is incredibly friendly, the rooms and décor are beautiful, and I always feel completely comfortable here. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The sauna and pool are a wonderful addition and make my stays even more relaxing. I absolutely love this place and have been coming several times a year for many years. Simply outstanding.
