    I co-organised a lawyers’ event with over 400 participants at this hotel and stayed there for that purpose. On a busy day, I handed my laundry to a staff member, including a brand-new MaxMara jumper. It was never returned.At first, the hotel claimed I had never handed it in. After I produced the laundry receipt, they asked for the original purchase invoice for the jumper, which I also provided. They then assured me they would take care of the matter. However, upon check-out, I was told that because I could not prove the person I entrusted with the jumper was officially an employee, they would do nothing.This is how a guest—who brought an event with over 300 attendees and incurred five-digit conference expenses—is treated on their final day.

    Wonderful hotel. Fantastic location. Awesome room, bed was great. 1 minus ... no coffee in the room. No machine, no nothing. Upon check out we have been told we could request a machine in our room, but common ... this should be common in a hotel of this status.

    Mixed reviews on this one. Rooms are nice as well as the overall look of the hotel. It’s close to the ferry which is handy for work.It’s also next to the reaperbahn so be careful in this area. The reason I give it a 3 is because I put the do not disturb sign on my door, and when I came back there were 2 cleaners inside. Ultimately I told them no need for cleaning but it’s only after I realised one of my jumpers was missing. Shame.     Too hot

    My stay at the Empire Riverside Hotel in June was a regrettable experience. Despite the pleasant weather outside, with temperatures around 65 degrees, my room was unbearably hot, reaching a stifling 77 degrees inside. This made it extremely uncomfortable to relax or get a good night's sleep.The most frustrating part of my stay was the front desk staff. They were completely indifferent to all customers, showing no concern or urgency when addressing our issues. When I approached them about the air conditioning problem, they were totally useless, offering no solutions or assistance. Their lack of responsiveness and care was deeply disappointing.Overall, my stay at the Empire Riverside Hotel was far from satisfactory. The combination of an uncomfortably hot room and indifferent, unhelpful staff made it a place I would not recommend to anyone. There are certainly better options available where guests are treated with respect and their comfort is a priority.

    This is a luxury hotel with a good location close to the river. Upon entering the hotel you are struck by the dark, gloomy decor of the lobby. The following amenities common to many non-luxury hotels are missing: coffee/tea maker, pen and note paper, no mini fridge, soap only in dispensers, and no lotion. While the bed was good the room was too warm and there was no way turn turn down the room temperature. The room itself which had floor to ceiling windows on two sides was bright but the furnishings were bland. Breakfast was available at 29 Euros ($31) which seemed overpriced. The room was clean.
