The hotel lies at the bottom of Mount Etna, just 13 km from the city of Catania. There is a sailing club within a 20-minute drive of the hotel, where one can hire boats and canoes. Local amenities in the town of Aci Trezza are just 900 metres away, and the larger Aci Castello is just 3 km from the hotel. Fontanarossa Airport is less than a half-hour drive and easily reachable cities include Messina and Siracusa, both around an hour's drive away.
