    Modern and Pleasant Hotel on outskirts of Central Hamburg

    Pleasant, clean and functional hotel near the centre of Hamburg. Rooms are okay with decent air conditioning and comfy beds. We had an odd number room, all of which I believe look out to the busy road outside - so don’t expect much of a view. The noise wasn’t too bad though. The TV had 1 English channel (BBC news🙄) and didn’t have smart channel functionality nor mirroring. The staff were all super friendly and helpful and spoke very good EnglishAt Breakfast there was a good choice of hot and cold food. You can walk to Hamburg centre, or the dockside (Minatur Wunderland) in around 20 minutes but PLEASE stick to the main roads - on arrival at the main train station Citymapper directed us through August Bebel park, a park that was clearly a drug exchange zone, junky hangout and was full of very sketchy people. Not the greatest of welcomes to the city. Use the Freenow app to book cabs around the city - it works well. There is a large supermarket (Eska?) and pharmacy very close to the hotel. Overall, it’s a modern and pleasant hotel on the outskirts of the centre of town

    We enjoyed our 7 night stay at this Hampton. At the front desk, Sandra, Yiota and Nilo all went out of their way to make us feel both welcomed and appreciated. Huge shout out to those three! Breakfast buffet was good, but on some mornings it was hard to find a seat.Our room, #902 was small, but nice and quiet. We did request that our room be cleaned twice, and they did a good job. Bathroom also small, but functional.We used public transport during our entire stay, and we found that it was between a 12 and 15 minute walk to the train station. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood.

    it was ok but we dont have towels we had to go to the reception to ask and then they give us towels but we had to bring them by ourselves and no fridge in the room,it was almost clean because the floor it wasn’t that clean,the shampoo it was only water with some soap.The bed sheets were almost clean but they have some marks on them.And under the bed it was a ear thingy and the windows were thin and that caused the train be so loud.

    Always safe with a Hampton

    I have learned that you cannot go wrong with a Hampton in Europe and this is not exception, gives you exactly want you need from a hotel, its not far from the city center, we walked on the both days we were there, the breakfast is good as Continental goes (if not a bit busy). The rooms were city center small but perfectly functional, we would stay again.

    Great location and within walking distance of the city. There is access to public transport with the 112 bus stop right outside the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious with all the necessary amenities. The gym is spacious but could do with a little more equipment. Buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.
