  I stayed here 3 nights for a short break exploring Hamburg. The hotel was great free coffee available all day which gets you kickstarted to get out and about. The room was huge by any one’s standards. Very big with huge windows with fully black out curtains quite handy. The bed was big comfy and the linens all spotless and very clean. The interior was very modern including all the gadgets a bottle opener was also there. Soap shampoo and the best hairdryer I have ever had in a hotel. There is a supermarket downstairs and a busy shopping street one street over. This had eateries and bars too. We walked to the Reeperbahn although there is transport options too. A kettle in the room too. See attached pics. We had a front facing room on the 3rd floor I never heard or was disturbed by any noise. Loved it this is room 311. Rooms serviced daily. I need to mention super lighting in the room well impressed.   Wonderful manager and big rooms

  We stayed at this hotel for two nights while we were in Hamburg for the Taylor Swift concert. So- the hotel was VERY busy when we arrived. We weren’t able to check in at 15:00, because the room wasn’t ready. The room was ready around 15:15. Fine. We get to the room, and it’s two single beds instead of 1 double bed as we had ordered. We went down to the reception, but they were completely booked, understandable, so they couldn’t move us to another room. We were offered 1 day free breakfast as compensation again fine. Later when we came down the receptionist said he actually couldn’t offer us free breakfast, but would give us 1 nights free parking. I was quite upset with this, but as I was on my way to the concert I decided to deal with it next morning. So- why did I give the hotel stay 5 stars? Because next morning we spoke with the wonderful manager. We explained the predicament, and she was kind enough to offer us free breakfast and free parking- this was a great compensation in my opinion. I have complete understanding that it was a stressful time for the hotel, but the manager was wonderful and so considerate. The room was HUGE and clean, and while we would have appreciated a double bed, we had a great stay anyways. Note for others coming here- you CANT but water and soda in the reception with credit card- only cash. Anyways- I’d recommend this hotel. And if I was to go to Hamburg again, I’d stay here again. Nice and close to trains and busses that go directly to the city center.   So noisy , impossible to sleep. Reception stank of stale cigarettes. Rude check in staff who really couldn’t care. In a part of town you don’t want to be. If it was £50 a night it would be too much.   Hotelroom needs a good renovation.

  The employees are very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. Plenty to choose from like fresh fruit, juice, rolls, eggs, etc. Location was nice. But parking the car is terrible. The parking spaces are very narrow.The room was spacious, but old. It is in desperate need of a renovation, especially the bathroom! It was old, moldy, rust on the radiator. I was not impressed.The rate for the room is way too high. I will not stay hete again.   Poor hotel, needs a make-over

  The reception at the desk was very weird when we arrived at approx. 23:00. The man behind the desk was friendly, but very confusing in his communication.When we entered the room, the floor was not clean and had dust/little bit of sand on some parts. The curtains had some very questionable, white stains all over it. The toilet seat was clean, but looks very old and yellowed.Overall, the room looked very poor and above all very bleak and lacks atmosphere. The same goes for the rest of the hotel's hallways, reception, etc. This hotel clearly needs a makeover to meet the standards of today. For € 100+ per night (w/o breakfast), I definitely expect more from a hotel. The location is the only upside, since its situated in a nice area.Would not recommend.
