  The location. Is perfect right next to the central station very nice staff friendly and competent The rooms are very clean housekeeping is doing a perfect job like the reception ! Sehr Empfehlenswert ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ fünf Sterne von mir! Gutes Hotel im Zentrum

  The Kieler Hof hotel is close to Hamburg railway station so it is perfect if you are arriving in the city by train or using the S Bahn from the airport.It is a short walk from the station and I was able to find the hotel with the help of google. I got checked in OK and shown to my room which was perfect for my stay. As well as a spacious room with a bed it also had a shower.My room was on the first floor and to get to the room there were steps into the foyer and then a curved staircase up to the hotel. If you are a person who struggles with stairs this hotel may not be suitable for you but apart from that it is excellent.There are a number of bars outside the hotel but with the windows shut there was no disruption.I left the hotel early the next morning but I asked if I could leave my bag there whilst I explored the city and they were happy to assist me with this and when I returned my bag was waiting for me.It's really good if you want somewhere to rest your head at night and that is close to the city centre.

  a big fan of VFM but this wasnt good. Great location, but nosiy all night. due to staff shortrages i was told if i was going to be coming back after 10 i would pay a 50 euro deposit for the key. F**k that

  Stayed here for my friends stag do 7th-10th June 18.I have rated the hotel 2* only because of the very cheap price and the reception staff giving us a fan for our room as the temperature was 30°c. If not for this would have been a lot less.Hotel location very good as it is literally a couple of streets away from the train station. The street itself has a lot of gangs of men hanging around all day and all night along with prostitutes.Hotel check in was good staff friendly, room I stayed in was a 3 bed. You only have 1 key per room which is handed back to reception whenever you leave the hotel. So if you dont return to the room together you have to leave the door open. A man randomly walked into our room one time by accident although if you were asleep then i could see it would be easy to get robbed. There was no toilet in the room although there was a sink, and quite randomly a shower cubicle just standing there. Would probably have been okay if you were there as a couple but not ideal for 3 guys sharing a room. There were 2 toilets in the hallway which were shared with about 8 rooms. In the toilets there were no sink to wash your hands although there was an antibacterial bottle of gel on top of the cistern. At the end of the hall was a room with a shower for the rest of the rooms. Towels were replaced daily although the towels were quite small and didn't dry you very well. Towels seemed to push water around your body instead of drying you.Street was very noisy all night and two of our party of 5 did not manage to sleep the entire time we were there.When sorting the covers of bed in the morning the inside duvet came into sight and was very dirty looking and marked.If you are a heavy sleeper and arent too fussed about cleanliness but are looking for a cheap hotel then this will do.
