Great dining and restful experience

Spent one night at Zum Zeppelin, travelling with our Pug dog. Easy check-in and good customer service, 10 euro charge for the dog which is reasonable. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, even though we were on the first floor, did not hear any street noise and slept well. The restaurant, Graf Zepplin has a great selection of food that is affordable and delicious. The breakfast was 12 euro and had a wide selection of hot and cold items which were very tasty. Some nearby walking trails for the dog and shopping in the immediate area. We had a great stay at the Zum Hamburg.

Rooms not so nice. But absolutely acceptable regarding the price.Good for airport pickups or dropoffs.Breakfast is average. Plenty of parkingOnly recommendable for travel by car and/or stopovers. Wouldn't spend a lot of time there.

Good location if you use the motorway

The hotel is located in the close vicinity of the motorway 7 that runs from southern Germany all the way up to Scandinavia. This is the place to stay one night. The hotel is clean but not very nice. We stayed on the top floor with low ceilings which makes walking around in the room very uncomfortable. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the food in the restaurant is good. In the evenings it’s difficult to find a parking place. The hotel is mostly used by salesman or workers. I wouldn’t book it for a weekend trip to Hamburg.

Fine for sleeping, not much else to do.

I had booked a budget room, as I was there on business and only needed a place to sleep. The budget rooms are located about 100m from the main hotel itself. You will have to run, and I do mean RUN, across a very busy 4 lane road with no pedestrian crossing close by. It’s very stressful to cross.The room I was given was fine. Very basic. I did miss a fridge very much though. Otherwise it was clean and fairly well kept. The WiFi is free and also works fine.Little tip regarding breakfast, don’t book it through Booking.com, do it when you check in. You will save a bit by doing so.Breakfast is also very standard. You have your eggs and sausages (no bacon though), breakfast rolls, ham, salami, cheeses etc.The reception workers are very nice. Whole staff was polite and friendly.As I said before, this is a place for only sleeping, at least the budget side, as I can’t comment on the rest of the hotel. The location is good, you also have quite a few free parking spaces. For a place to only crash in, I would book it again.

Great value hotel! Modern and clean soundproofed rooms, free wifi, parking and friendly staff . Exprienced a very good and peculiar restaurant , large selection breakfast. Near to hamburg airport reacheable in ten minutes.
