    I stayed here for the recent convention and unfortunately had a very poor stay. There is no chance this a 5 star hotel, I dont know how it got the rating.The pillows in the room are genuinely the worst pillows I've ever slept on. The staff were rude, didn't seem interested in helping us at all and anytime you asked for something they wouldn't do it. You would have to chase them up again to ask for simple thingsExtremely poor service you'd expect from a 2 star. Absolutely not a five star. I will be coming to the convention every year and I will never be staying here again and I will make sure to tell other business owners I know who come for the convention to avoid this hotel also.     Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectation.

    Not a pleasant experience to be honest – Maia checked me in but she didn’t say anything throughout the check-in process. As such I would expect such question to confirm how many night(s) I am staying - I only stayed one night and was pretty cheap. She handed me a paper but didn’t say anything what to do – should of ask me to confirm my detail whether its correct or not. A guest would be like what to do with that in such case. I have requested to add the breakfast at the online check-in, but when I asked to confirm, she did straight tell me my breakfast was not included, without looking at the system properly. Only after I mentioned about my request online, then she checked the system then told me my breakfast was included with pay at the check-out. Check the system please… what’s the point being at the reception. Her job is to greet and provide assistance when needed. Her professionalism wasn’t there at all. Also felt she was somewhat rude too. The buttons in the room has yellow-ish lights and that really bothered me throughout the night when all lights were off. Fan sound in the bathroom was also very loud even I turned off, but must be somewhere else. The floor is pretty thin and chances are soundproof between the ceilings would be poor. The breakfast was pretty average. So unfortunately it did not meet my expectation and just one-off stay is enough for me. I don't think it would be walkable from the central station either having said that it is located pretty central, but it is bit off central I should say.     close to the hamburg central stations, walking by 5 mins if you have no luggage. good view from the windows and fast wifi experience.     Very poor experience

    My experience at HYPERION Hotel Hamburg was shockingly poor, and I feel compelled to warn others.I booked a stay through Hotels.com, fully believing I had reserved August 28–29. When I arrived that same day, I discovered the system had instead booked September 28–29. I explained the situation politely at reception, but was met with complete indifference.The receptionist first claimed he couldn’t see any booking and that there was “nothing he could do.” I immediately contacted Hotels.com, who tried twice to call the hotel, but nobody answered. During this time, the receptionist even went to the back office – and when I pointed it out, he simply shrugged and repeated that nothing could be done. When I told him this was unacceptable service and would result in a negative review, his response was: “Then just do that.”This is not just poor service – it is shameful. The reservation in question was still a full month away, meaning the hotel would not have lost anything by showing a minimum level of flexibility or goodwill. Instead, they chose to dismiss a guest standing right in front of them, only hiding behind rigid rules.A hotel that treats its guests this way should seriously reconsider whether it belongs in the hospitality business. I strongly advise others to avoid HYPERION Hotel Hamburg unless management makes fundamental changes.I sincerely hope the hotel manager reads this, because this level of customer service is unacceptable for an establishment that charges premium rates. Please allow us to clarify that our colleague repeatedly offered you a room at the standard daily rate so that you would not be without accommodation, but we regret that this solution did not meet your needs. As the booking had been made through a third-party provider, the possibility of changing or “shifting” the reservation date was unfortunately not possible on-site at that time. We sincerely apologize if our communication did not come across as supportive as intended. Providing friendly and professional service to all our guests is very important to us.     Close to all good yet away from city nuisance

    Very good property with spacious rooms and extremely well maintained. Clean bath rooms. Hotel is located just with in 1 km from the Central station yet away from the crowded and not so appealing part of central station area. . We were given Mini bar included and full day access to their Executive Lounge area with snacking , drinks and some fruits, from 7 am to 10 PM, which was great. Had a wonderful experience.
