Stayed here on my own for a few nights. The low cost was a determining factor for me and given the price it was a perfectly acceptable hotel. The single room was of a fine size as was the bathroom. Around 1.5 miles from the nearest metro station and 4 miles from the airport but this was sufficiently close for my purposes.

Booked a familyroom for two adults and two children as described..When we arrived, they didn’t have such rooms.....So the night was spendt with four people in tree beds....Workers started at 6.30 outside the windows, was not described anywhere....Breakfast not included, fine, 7 Euros extra, but if you wanted eggs and bacon, they would charge 1,50 extra.No ventilation in the roomsMore than less no lights in the bathroomSqueeky bedsDirty bathroomsMuch noise from the halls when people opened and closed their doorsStay away!

Then try this nice and quiet hotel with absolutely fair prices just 15 km north of Hamburg. Rooms are clean, not king-size but adequate, there is lots of free parking, 24-hour reception and quiet surroundings, although it is in the centre of Nordenstedt. Prices are less than half the price of similar in Hamburg. It is only a few kms from the A7 and the Fuhlsbuttel airport, although I only found out after coming home writing this. Service is fine and they have a good breakfast. Basic hotel in a small Hamburg suburb

We stayed 1 night in the Centro Hotel Norderstedter Hof. The hotel is unpretencious, but genuine in its delivery; basic, clean rooms without any sense of luxury. We had a big room, spacious enough for 4, if we so wanted. The Restaurant, which is in the Hotel but still not a part of the Hotel, served us a very good dinner in the evening. A lovely welcoming Hotel

A very nice Hotel with very helpful staff .Plenty of hot water for a shower - very comfortable bed - a very good continental breakfast with lots of choice . The only thing missing is tea & coffee making facilities .
