    Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.Nice hotel, well located. Friendly helpful reception staff, lovely comfortable room.Nice to be able to have breakfast brought to your room for a reasonable 3.50 euro.Breakfast menu very extensive.Would have no hesitation about staying here again.

    A great Birthday experience!

    We stayed here on my Birthday, March 30th, for 2 nights having arrived from Southampton on Cunard Queen Victoria that morning! We were made very welcome, very central hotel for all the sights. We were able to book our on-off bus tickets in reception, a great bonus! The Baselerhof hotel also had a very cosy lobby bar plus great breakfast. On our departure day( a train onwards to Dusseldorf), a taxi was booked for us to the Hauptbahnhof. We travelled on to Dusseldorf on 1st April.     We had a weekend in Hamburg and stayed at this amazing hotel.The staff at reception were friendly and helpful.The room however was a bit dated but spotlessly clean, it had all the mod cons that you would need.We ate in the hotels restaurant one evening, which was excellent quality at a very reasonable price.We paid the extra for breakfast, which I must say was amazing.Everything that a continental feast plus more you would expect.Overall can’t fault on anything,and this would be my number one on return.     Stayed here for the Christmas Markets. The hotel was nice and in a great location, it's about 5 minutes walk to Jungfernstieg station which gets you directly to the airport and about 10 minutes walk to the Rathaus so perfect for sightseeing. As a nice touch, the hotel offers you a free 3-day travelcard for the trains and buses. We didn't have the breakfast as it felt expensive and there are several cafes nearby. Next door is a beer house which is handy! The traffic can be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper and the bathroom was a little snug but other than that all good. Would recommend.
