This hotel enjoys a central location on the bank of the Hamburg Außenalster. Facility

    We had a comfortable room with a king size bed, nice bathroom and I liked the ambience of the hotel generally. Didn't eat breakfast there as there was a long queue one morning but wasn't an issue. We had a problem with the air conditioning not working properly which unfortunately wasn't resolved and the spa pool area allows children for the majority of the day which made it too noisy to enjoy. Overall good but not sure I'd stay again.

    This was a first class stay in Hamburg the room was excellent and the staff fantastic and helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice for every taste. The location made for a fantastic stay in Hamburg.

    love this property so much. The rooms are excellent , the spa and sauna super. Gym is very nice equipment. Location is excellent. The best part of the stay in the heritage bar. The bar tenders are all very exceptional, special shout out to my German friend bartender with the glasses and suspenders. His name escapes me but he gave me lots of German recommendations , remembered the beers I like and always provided special attention. I’m unsure that he knows I’m a titanium elite member with Marriott , he just provides that level of service that makes you feel at home. I’ll never book elsewhere in Hamburg , and this visit was so special I’ll consider this brand more in the future for other destinations. Danke Hamburg!!

    Good, comfortable hotel with friendly service

    We had a lake facing deluxe room - whilst it was beautiful waking up to the lake (especially when the sun is shining), one can’t really open the door because of the traffic noise. The room service / housekeeping is efficient and they are always friendly and accommodating. There are touches of art all along the corridors and room.I personally find the room a little dark but given we were hardly in the room for reading or working, it was sort of ok.It’s convenient-ish to walk to town from the hotel.. Hamburg is not that big and taxis are affordable in case of bad weather.

    The place to stay in Hamburg. Wonderful views of the lake. walking distance to the train station and main central areas in Hamburg. Wonderful bathtub with views of the lake, as the balcony has French Doors.
